Wow wow wow they did an excellent job ! I was completely immersed in the characters!!! I think everyone in the comments has expressed what I want to say. Theyāre both so amazing at expressing emotions through their eyes you can literally see their eyes twinkling from longing for eachother my goodness the scene where Pran walked away you could see the devastation and fear in his eyes and when Pats gaze changed from happy /excited/relieved to when he realized that āitās going to be difficult to be togetherā their acting was beautiful.The thing I love most about Ohm is his voice my goodness he is so good at expressing his emotions through his voice when his voice trembled when he said āNoā I died . His voice changes when heās happy , sad , angry , in love or not in love he does it seamlessly you believe every bit of his acting . Nanon on the other hand is a king at facial expressions he uses his entire face like everything down to his lips is playing a role . The little details both of them bring make it such a joy to watch . Itās wonderful to see two very good actors make magic on screen.
It is difficult to put into words how perfect episode 5 was. I LITERALLLY FORGOT TO BREATHE. If you haven't started watching this series yet you are seriously missing out. I can't put into words the stellar job they are doing . It looks like GMMTV wasn't joking about stepping up their game the directing , cinematography and music is phenomenal . Ohm and Nanon are such a perfect pairing they have amazing chemistry and are giving us such a good performance it feels real byee so proud of them !!
I wasn't expecting much but I tuned in because the main actors are some of my favourites and obviously because GMMTV production and OST's are always pretty good and high quality and it was honestly such a solid first episode I was pleasantly surprised. I loved it ! There was ZERO awkwardness and the music fit well with the drama . It was very well directed. It's a nice feeling because I feel like we haven't gotten any good Thai BL's in a while . The actors have really good chemistry like ALL of them even the parents lol. I love the bits of humour in it I think that GMMTV always does 'funny' well . The fight scenes between faculties are kinda bad (GMMTV will never learn how to throw fake punches and atp I've given up) but in this case it was probably done that way on purpose for some comedy . I'm VERY excited to watch the next episode :) I got butterflies from some of the subtle flirting. I'm scared though GMMTV either does really WELL or really BADLY which is a shame because their actors always do really well but the plot sometimes goes in a weird direction. I sincerely hope they don't waste the talent on this one I love Ohm and Nanon.
Okay so hear me out at first I thought Non was a better choice than Valen and here's why :
-He had a strong introduction with Kaitoon -they met in a more suitable way unlike Valen who robbed Kaitoon -Non seemed to have better energy with Kaitoon (Valen and Kaitoon seemed quite awkward in the beginning which is honestly understandable since they didn't like eachother )
However, after watching episode 5 and 6 I realised that if they do it well they can make some thing magical happen in this series, The chemistry between Kaitoon and Valen is miles better than the chemistry between Kaitoon and Non. Non feels more like the bestest friend while Valen definitely gives off a more romantic vibe . The last 10 minutes of episode 6 were really beautiful omg. After the last two episodes I understood why Kaitoon and Valen are the main couple . There's something really special there. I believe all they need is a better script and a better director because the characters feel a little shallow. The only one with character development is honestly Valen.
On that note I hope they stop making Non look pitiful it's distracting us from the main leads because we feel guilty for rooting for them . I hope they make him happy I enjoy his character he seems really down to earth so I hope they don't make him into a villain or forgotten character. Also I think he's the least awkward actor in the series .
unpopular opinion : I honestly hope the second couple break up again . I don't like them together omg I'm trying really hard but the relationship seems a bit dry, forced and directionless.
I believe you should give this series a try. I've been watching BL's since 2016 and I've watched virtually every bl you can think of including the ones that aren't as popular that you might not have even heard of and there's worse out there lol. It's not a bad series it's average.
I was pleasantly surprised !! I mean since it's Earth and Mix I already thought the drama would be good but the first episode was sooo lovely ! I like the pacing and it seems all the actors put in a lot of effort . I'll be honest Earth's acting on Waterboy was a bit stale for me and then in Theory of love it was okayish but now even from the first episode I can see such a huge improvement so special shout out to him . (of course the other actors were great I just felt like giving him a special shoutout for his hard work ). All the music is beautiful and I'm so glad the opening and ending songs aren't long because I'm guilty of skipping when they're too long taking up an entire 4 minutes of an 8 minute part lol that frustrates me so I'm glad that's not the case in this. The series had a good start so hopefully they can maintain this level.
