Oh wow I just read a spoiler online after your comment and tbh I’m a bit disappointed . I’m not sure it feels like such a typical plot that’s why I was hoping they would try something a bit less obvious so I was trying to theorize what they might do to make it a bit more interesting. Anyway I still love the show 😃
My theory after watching ep 12 is that Porsche’s dad used to work for Korn as a bodyguard but retired to start a family . Korn kept in touch with him and Porsche’s dad would occasionally do favours for Korn once in a while. I feel like Korn wouldn’t let Kinn and Porsche be together if they were related .
My second theory is way out of pocket and definitely not going to happen but I’ll say it anyway. Maybe Kinn is adopted and Porsche is his real son that he had through an affair. Korn didn’t want to meddle at first but when he saw how Porsche was struggling after his parents death he decided to help him.
I loved this I don’t care what people say lol I’ve watched it like three times . It’s super cringey but a fun watch to pass the time. I admit the humour may not be for everyone though
Okay so I can’t believe that I put off watching this drama for so long. I admit when I watched the trailer it seemed decent but not something to get excited about I thought I’d just watch it whenever I was bored. I finally felt bored enough to start this today. BEST DECISION EVER!!!! This is easily one of the best BL shows of this year and if the next few episodes go well then it will be in my top 5 Thai BL dramas of ALL time . That says a lot because I’ve been watching BL since Lovesick the series came out in like 2014/2015. I binged all 10 episodes that have been released so far and I love this. The plot and acting is superb. Please watch this if you can because I’m sitting here wondering why no one is hyping this up. Trust me this is a quality drama.
I quite like Lee Ra El and Kang Yoon Gyeom’s chemistry. It’s very mature and not too much it’s just enough to feel captivating. I can’t wait to watch more of them together . I think it’s going to get steamy and I have no idea why but K-dramas with cheating/adultery involved are always interesting . I’m pretty torn because it’s quite messy so I hope they don’t end up together in the end but leave eachother amicably after the revenge is done. They can have their fun but don’t make them endgame. I hope she gets peace of mind and moves away to another country in the end.

I just said I wish the plot was better so the actors could showcase their hard work more because I quite like the cast I’ve been following them for long but it’s the second time they’ve been given a script with hardly any plot to work with. I didn’t say anything about other actors . I was just truthful that it’s not the best and also not the worst drama it just needed more plot. It’s okay to support your favourite actors but it’s not okay to skim over the truth and pretend it’s the best work ever. It’s better to give constructive criticism . The music and production was some of the best I’ve ever seen in a bl but the plot wasn’t good. The acting tho was quite good .
See this isn’t the worst show out there but the writers and directors didn’t give the actors much to work with. I’m starting to think Domundi agency might be the problem. They focus on everything else except a good script for the boys which is a shame for the actors because that’s not a good environment to grow your acting skills in . I’m assuming the agency reads the script beforehand so they should also learn to refuse bad scripts with no plot. They also did them dirty with Why R U the series . I understand that sexy scenes sell but we’re not the same audience we were in 2016 who were just happy to have full length bl dramas. We want substance . We want plots with meaningful/focused storylines. But mostly we just want to watch the actors get better and better at their craft. That is all.
Omg the drama from ep 10 is soooo unnecessary and dragged out . Like it’s ruining the cute thing Lian and Kuea had going on and at this point everything should have been resolved and all they should be doing is planning a wedding. Also I’m kinda pissed that we waited 10 episodes for Hia Yi and Diao to have a conversation but they didn’t and decided to forget about it… 😩 this show should have been 8 episodes long because clearly they’re giving us naughty scenes and nothing . Like I’m happy for Diao and Yi but tbh we haven’t scene much romance between them it kinda feels like two strangers passionately making out. Like it started of with a good storyline but it feels like halfway through the directors and writers just got lazy. I love all these actors though so it’s a shame. Also why did Kuea suddenly forget that Lian has seen him in his school uniform why did he try to lie? Pls I’m just frustrated now but after 10 episodes I have to watch to the end. Can they all sit down and communicate like adults omg. It’s not a bad show there are soooo many shows that are worse ..but it could have been so much better with a plot with more focused direction and dialogue
Okay I’m dead lol like the whole episode was amazing . I love how Kinn is slowly starting to open up to Porsche. Also I quite like the mature and dark element of this BL . The people who read the description of what Kinn Porsche is about and watched the trailer then decided to watch the show only to get triggered when we get scenes with violence and less consent than in other series are childish. What did you possibly think would happen? This isn’t a fluffy .. soft bl .. it LITERALLY says 18+ 🙄 It’s literally rated R for adult themes. I beg let us enjoy . Go to high school or something. I beg let us enjoy without negativity. Watch this series for what it is ..and not for what you want it to be. You can just not watch. Alsooooo Jeff looking Incredible as always happy to see him!!
I think it’s amazing what GMMTV is doing with Not me. The world we’re living in is shallow and filled with people who want to sleep in the dark about the things going on in the world. Even the comments mirror how shallow the world has become. Some people preach about being activists because they have the lgbtq flag plastered on their wall or as a phone case. Or they believe they are ‘woke’ because they’ve attended a few lgbtq rallies and painted their faces in rainbow colours or because they’ve joined an lgbtq club at their school or because they’ve been watching BL since 2012 or whenever. But in reality most people could care less. It’s not really about what you do (don’t get me wrong supporting lgbtq is important) however it’s also about how you feel on the inside ..don’t do it just because you want to be ‘woke’ this isn’t a trend . Some people are complaining not enough romance blah blah blah or too many serious dialogues..👀like isn’t it okay that out of the 500 fluffy bl’s that you watch that atleast one takes things seriously 😐 it doesn’t make this show trash it makes it unique and I’m glad we have a show like this one. That entire sequence leading up to the pride flag was portrayed really well.
I swear bl fans are such hypocrites. Everytime a fluffy bl gets big they complain and complain that we need 'better…
Literally for this very reason I have stopped being really active in the comment section and just enjoy bt myself. I am so glad the main focus on this isn't romance . I love how they're branching out of the cliche , stereotypical romance plots. Not Me is a very beautifu;l and meaningful show.
This is such a classic . I watch it whenever I want a trip down nostalgia lane. I think newer BL fans might not appreciate it or might not really understand why it’s a treasure. Yes it’s messy and yes there’s annoying characters but Lovesick really paved the way . There’s just something so special about Phun and Noh’s love story. Now we have so many BL’s with great production and amazing storylines but Lovesick will always have a special place in my heart. You honestly had to be there and experience the excitement. I remember when gay characters were mainly casted as side characters or only had a show with a few episodes so it was great to get a full length Thai BL where the gay characters are the main focus . I wish Noh was part of GMMTV so that the squad would be together but I guess that will never happen sadly . It’s so fun to see so many familiar faces in lovesick
If you watch this IGNORE the cringe in the first like 6-8 minutes of the first episode. That fight scene almost made me give up right away lol. It honestly gets better. Truthfully I wasn’t expecting much I just wanted something to watch on Saturdays but I was pleasantly surprised. Eurwin has such a lovely voice and the storyline is pretty enjoyable. Also the leads have good chemistry. Is it the perfect show ? No ..but it’s worth a try . I’m actually excited for episode 2 because I like the musical theme of the show. I also like that even though it’s a musical they don’t burst into song every 5 minutes ..

True ! I'm crossing my fingers that it's just a dream and when Pat or Pran wakes up they realize that being separated that long is rubbish like we are tired of that overused trope. Also I really hope GMMTV is testing the reaction for Korn and Wai to see if they can be coupled together in a future project I think they'd be so cute together.
