OMG a feast. The Marquis is trying to find any about the seventh lady being Mei. He's not leaving anything, he went to check her handwriting to touching her hands. Because he knew what they felt like. He's desperately trying everything. And Shen is getting impatient about her relation with Lu Jiaxu.

The pressure to study is high. Oh man The Marquis was so sad after hearing about Mei. Ning misunderstood Marquis, she thought he gave his men orders to kill her, but he would never. She has a big misunderstanding and told the Marquis that his Mei was her servant that has already died.

All the young masters are preparing for the upcoming exam. While each candidate is assigned to one sister to be taken of, so they don't fall ill by studying too much. And the way Ning pretends to twist her ankle, so that Shen will cone running to her. No matter what anyone says I like the Marquis

Oh my god the whole episode was so good, Shen becoming the legitimate son of the Second wife and he's harbouring feelings for Ning, (it'll be weird because she doesn't know they're not related by blood). That was hilarious, Shen scolding his own subordinate/man to leave the shop for Ning, he's so cute pretending that he doesn't know that man infront of him, in truth he works for him.

I'm a Dark Romance reader, I can't oppose anything the Marquis is doing. The way he steps closer to her, that she can feel his breath on her face. And he can smell the faint smell of flowers on her. The old maid who worked for her mother, is trying her best to tell her about her Mother's death. I can't believe it, her father was like that. Ning is trying to convince her mother (principal wife) to adopt Shen as her son.

A literary feast competition is held at Luo Residence and Marquis is there too. Marquis recognised the tune Ning played on qin but she refuses to admit that she's mei. While Shen displays his talent to Mr.Sun then Sun asks him to join his school, learn from him.

Yayy! Finally a fighting scene between Shen and Marquis. The Marquis entered the Luo Residence to capture a major criminal, and is trying to punish Shen. Oh man the episode till now, I'm giggling ^^. And finally Ning stood up past her fears of Marquis. The Marquis recognised her, and she just wants him to go from their residence, it's written on her face. Grandma used her authority as a court subject to save her family and residence. Grandma is well aware of Shen's secrets.

Ning and Shen went to the market, but got seperated for a while, and in that period Marquis and Ning met eachother, buy she was too shocked by seeing him there. And she knew the moment she uttered even a single word he'll recognise it was his Mei. The Marquis's been trying to find out clues. While Ning's having nightmares about the drowning event in the past. She wants to help him get his name registered in the family book. But their father might not think the same. Ning has been trying to find the cause of mother's illness or death.

Grandma has punished Ning, because she exposed Concubine Qiao's crimes at the risk of her own reputation, she might have been harmed if anything went wrong. Even Shen Yuan is angry that she is being stubborn and doesn't understand how risky and dangerous that stunt was. Ning had a high fever, it was not going down. Therefore Shen tried what the physician told him, and he got a pretty heavy scolding by Grandma for it. I love the main couple so much their scenes are so wholesome.

Concubine Qiao tried to frame Ning, by bribing the Performer to ruin Ning's reputation. And Shen Yuan comes to her rescue and protects her from his father. That trashy father doesn't even want to listen to a single word she has to say, but he's quite eager to protect his concubine. Asshole. He's trying to cover up his concubine's crimes, when his own daughter's reputation is at risk. How could he. And just look at the flashback, when Shen asked Ning upon reaching the room where she was taken "What is this" omg, his eyes holds so much anger, he was so angry at the situation. And finally all the evil deeds of Concubine Qiao has come to light. Now everyone knows every evil deed she committed. And now Ning's father is heartbroken witnessing everything. Ending the episode with his dialogue to CQiao "You've done it all wrong, There's no turning back." 10/10

Okay the Marquis's nephew us probing around for information. While Shen was fighting a masked enemy, the whole Yixin abode burned down.
