I canot picture this as a musical. I'm excited but I honestly have no idea how they would do this. I guess we'll…
I think of all the k-dramas out there, this is one that could be adapted well. Its storyline, costumes, color scheme, etc, will lend itself well to the stage.
ooh interesting! but there's no musical aspect to hotel del luna...
The OST was amazing so they could use those songs, I'm sure, but normally when something is adapted into a musical they create new songs to fit the storyline.
I thought this was a phenomenal drama. The acting was first-rate all the way around, (my fave Yeon Woo Jin never disappoints.) The writers stitched together a story that I hadn't actually seen before, or for a long time. It was interesting, and creepy, and exciting right from the beginning, but I wasn't expecting how emotional and even heart-wrenching it would end up being. But I should honestly learn my lesson and just not read MDL comments on dramas that I really liked. And I really liked this drama.
how do people think like you? people are literally fine with actors and actresses abusing their own children merely…
I agree with the problematic nature of receiving this much hate from strangers on the internet - especially because, you're right, we don't have all of the information. This must be a special case for whatever reason, however, because the Chinese government seems to be stepping in to cancel her upcoming dramas and pull her older ones from circulation, right? This isn't a scandal that was started by the public, and while netizens are furious, it seems the government itself has decided that she is to be punished for her behavior.
So true!! I was actually so happy when I saw this, honestly this plot seems like the same old same old cliched,…
I'm personally really liking Lovestruck in the City - a lot, actually, and it hasn't finished airing here. I think it's getting more interesting with each new episode. So to each their own. (I didn't watch Backstreet Rookie.) FWIW, I think his acting in Lovestruck is some of the most emotionally rich I've seen from him in a long time. It's a different kind of role for him, for sure, and thank goodness. He's a performer - they don't want to always do the same thing all the time.

She has the right to walk away and let other people raise her children for her, sure. She didn't bond with the children and for whatever reason doesn't want to be a parent, and that's her right. But it sounds like her ex-husband would actually like to keep and raise the children himself in China but she refuses to do what's necessary to make that happen. That's attempting to strip him of his legal right to care for his own children. I hope someone has thought of suing her on behalf of her children, actually.
She is allowed to walk away from her children, but her abandonment of them is made much, much worse with the heaping dose of spite that's preventing her children from remaining with one of their parents. It's like she's saying that because she doesn't want to be a parent she won't allow her ex to be one either. And that might not be a crime against humanity, but that's her not acting like a good human.
And to your point about men getting away with this kind of behavior - this is why (in this country anyway) someone is getting sued for child support every week. It's not ok for men either...

Both parents need to sign legal documents for their children before exiting one country and permanently entering another because of the many cases of parental abduction and kidnapping. One birth certificate from one parent does not suffice and for some good reasons. I don't think there will "always" be cases like this - this is an unusual-sounding case. But even if one parent just doesn't want to be a parent anymore, they still have financial obligations towards their children until adoption papers are signed and certified in court.

Ji Chang Wook has already said that he doesn't want to do any more action dramas because they're too hard on his body. I hope you all don't expect him to just do those for the rest of his career (because it would be a short one then.)
But I should honestly learn my lesson and just not read MDL comments on dramas that I really liked. And I really liked this drama.

My favorite song from this drama is You Him Me, but I wish there was a recording of the song Marcus sang in one of the episodes.
