I don't actually take offense at everything I read here (or anywhere) but you have a special gift, apparently. "You're constantly pushing your views and demanding others to adopt them in a clearly overbearing manner" - says the Community Manager whose comments excel at being demanding and overbearing and obtuse. "Let's just stop it here." Done. Bye.
Yeah, I never knew about technical stuff while watching dramas until I read her articles ;D
Thank you for searching! You know, I had thought seriously about writing something for this site, but I've had some run-ins with some "community managers" and some other commenters this year, as you might have picked up on, and honestly doubt that I would even get an idea approved. (That's the cynical part of me anyway.) But thanks for the encouragement anyway.
Yes. The female lead is really cute. She can be embarrassing too though lol. On a side note: I think your comment…
It usually takes me a while to block someone, but it's getting to that point fairly quickly here for him.
Also, I replied to your comment before you edited it and added several sentences. which changes how I'm going to respond now. With your original comment, while I didn't agree with it, I took you at your word that you meant it respectfully. But now that you've added "Also, I'm choosing not to take offense to your comment because I'm a peaceful and non-toxic person. Go ahead and be offended over every little comment, it's your life and not mine. If you choose to be offended over my comment as well, so be it. I couldn't care less", it changes the tone of your comment completely, and not in a good way, So I'm confused why my one-word "Yuck" to another commenter (not you) was apparently so disrespectful that it caused you to tell me to "please take a look at myself", but those last few sentences (added as an edit) aren't disrespectful?
John Mayer's flunkies were Australians with Australian accents
Interesting. I love hearing Marcus Chang speak English because he spent lots of time in Australia as well and you can really hear that accent when he speaks English (but he's Taiwanese and not Korean, obviously.) I think the scene where Ahn Hyo Seop speaks English on the phone in Abyss is one of the best times I've heard k-actors speak English during a drama....

I don't agree actually, but thanks for your thoughts (and I'm not being sarcastic.) For the record, I was also reacting to some other things that Seonsaeng has commented on from other articles and so it all blended together into one comment.
John Mayer's flunkies were Australians with Australian accents
You might be right about that....and now I want to see if that's actually the case. (Actually that would make a great article, I think.) Some k-actors who grew up in Canada or the US are excellent English speakers, obviously, like Ahn Hyo Seop and Choi Woo Shik. (They both grew up in Canada.)
The "Popular Visual Cues found in K-Dramas" articles by 3GGG were incredibly interesting and educational! Now I go looking for these cues in dramas and movies.
John Mayer's flunkies were Australians with Australian accents
Not all the actors had Australian accents - there were multiple of Mayer's minions who were attempting an "American" accent. And like I said earlier, I couldn't care less where Western actors are from, or what accent they have, - I just want decent acting and an authentic-sounding accent from wherever their 'character' is from.
Your comment is extra, and as a Community Manager, you should know better. The tactful and graceful way to say…
Of all the sites on the internet, I thought this one (dedicated to a celebration of Asian media) would be free of stereotypical comments about women, and Asian women in particular. But based on your original comment as well as the eleven people that liked your second comment, that doesn't seem to be the case here either - and that's disappointing in many ways.
Stop telling us to chill out. That's incredibly offensive. "European" is not a race, and so your equivalency is false. Why don't you stop a minute and think about why some of us find some things you say about women and the races of women so problematic - you might come away with some better ways to express yourself.
I'm asking because some of the free sites can bring viruses and other malware to your computer (and some are fine), but I never know which ones are which.
In my opinion, child actors cannot be taken into account in this article. Because they are young AND experienced,…
I only mention two former child actors here and the rest are just young (and extremely talented.) This article only mentions a few young actors in a couple of C-dramas but doesn't mention any other younger performers from anywhere else. Also, idol actors in K-dramas are generally more talented in acting than in other Asian dramas, imho, and that should be noted as well.
