unpopular opinion: ep 21 - I know the guy paid for the proposal coz he is an unromantic ML and it is really not his thing so I hope that the FL sees it from that angle. the ML is making effort so I hope the girl would also adjust and accept that the ML is like that

I think the FL’s intention in the first few episodes was only to take revenge to the ML and not really to pursue romantic relationship, whereas President Wang intention is clearly different fr the FL so i think the comparison is not apple to apple
