The comparison of kdras and jdras against a Xianxia cdrama (normally with a really long story/ plot) is a bit of a stretch considering that when they filmed this drama, they have about 60 ep in mind.
As for the filming and production, that is standard and normal in China (Been following C-ent for 8 yrs).
I mean, if you have such high standards then maybe stick to kdras :)

unpopular opinion: ep 21 - I know the guy paid for the proposal coz he is an unromantic ML and it is really not his thing so I hope that the FL sees it from that angle. the ML is making effort so I hope the girl would also adjust and accept that the ML is like that
