I think the FL’s intention in the first few episodes was only to take revenge to the ML and not really to pursue romantic relationship, whereas President Wang intention is clearly different fr the FL so i think the comparison is not apple to apple

Duolou continent is a good reference, but I watched the first ep and there's definitely a lot of similarities from some of the cdramas I've wathced, which is good btw. Also there are a lot of mages in cdramas :D Anyway, I love the FL character and the drama looks promising. Will continue watching it :D
