Early on in the drama, when Tianhe and Lingsha met Mengli, I think there was some sign of attraction from Mengli to Tianhe but when Mengli saw that TH and LH had some kind of romantic bond, she accepted that already. I respect your opinion on how you felt about Mengli's case but I think the flow of the 'romantic' aspect of the drama works for me and I appreciate how it was written for all characters. 😊

Frankly, I like how their relationships were written with everyone having the maturity to accept what they can have and not have. Quite refreshing imo

We all want her to live but if she drank it, that would be a deviation from her character.

Since Day 1, Ziying has been most resolute about his stand on demons as his first master Zong Lian made him swear to fight them at all cost. But I'm positive, as wise as he is that he will have a turnabout and redeem himself.

Clearly, the drama implies that he wants to be Lingsha's scabbard with all thise side eyes and looks while saying it. Although, of course, they will never be together, I feel that ZY and LS share their deeper emotions and information about each other that you cannot but help wish they could be together 🥹

My heart aches for poor baby Ziying. He's so lovable and sad at the same time 🥹
