I think they're saving the momentum for the big reveal of her gender when she enters into court. Even in the trailers,…
Yeah it seems that way to me too. As Martial said, its a good thing if she does, honestly. Its better than waiting uncertainly for someone to reciprocate your feelings. Besides, it can ensure that they work effectively in protecting the nation.
Lmao ngl Su Ming was kinda smart with defecting. These new 'royal family members' need another thorough background check, because Im afraid they aren't just here to pay the Emperor their respects and drink tea with him in the imperial garden lmao

Hmm true that. She did indeed look very majestic when she entered the court as a her true self, in the drama trailer. So far, Im happy the rejection hasn't caused her to act irrationally, but if it does eventually honeslty that'd be realistic.
Fr tho. With the Emperor's changing temperament and suspicious nature, one wrong step and they'd wish they were protecting the boarders at Huangquan pass
Watched the trailers for ep 25 and 26. Saw huang jun jie. I hope they get closer after pushing each other away.…
Oh gosh GMP had one of the saddest endings, yet it was realistic and Ive still rewatched plenty times. I think most dramas I've watched have had a sad/tragic or bittersweet ending, so if this one does too I would be sad ofc but I'd be prepared for it (as long as it isn't rushed).
But yeah same. The trailers have been what's keeping me hooked until the next episodes.
Zheliu and Zhouying: Honestly teared up a bit in their scene in ep 24 when she gave him an embroided handkerchief and he gave her the pomegranate cakes she used to make. I assume she now knows or will start to realise that he is the so-called 'God of Wind'? Also I'm happy that she is aware of his feelings and seems to have taken it well.
Emperor and Tilan: With the amount of concotikns he's been making her drink, and the constant harrasment she' been getting, I saw it coming. Ngm tho, I teared up a bit in ep 24 when the Emperor finally showed some sort of "genuine" concern for her (carrying her in the rain, demanding that they save her etc). Though this in no way makes up for the harm he's caused her, from the looks of the upcoming trailers he'll starting treating her as a human (at least)-which is something he should've done a long time ago
The new princess/Lord Chang: Still holding my suspicions against Lord Chang-whose 'cluelessness' is starting to become overplayed. The new princess idk but I feel she's kinda sus too. I mean why show up now. Also from the looks of the new trailers, it seems like the Emperor and Master don't fully trust her.
Our main leads: -Had hopes that Haishi's dress-scene would've been more climatic but it's fine. -I'm glad that she outright confessed-tho Im dissapointed that Master didn’t give her an answer-tho he clearly showed concern after pushing her down unintentionally, and saying 'I'm sorry' (when I saw this in the main drama trailer-I thought he'd heartlessly thrown her down) -Haishi's ability to take 'rejection' as a champ and carry out her duties well, is both admirable and sad. -From ep 23, I'm assuming there's a 90% chance(don't rlly know how to calc percentages so yeah) that Shifu will eventually die in this drama-either due to his current health staus or something else. If so, shouldn't this be why he should attempt to make the best of his relationship with Haishi-before he does die? Like he's spending too much time 'protecting her from the distance' that when he'll actually say f-it I want to be with Haishi, she'll already be with the Emperor T.T-and by then he can't act on his feelings for her.
Although it doesn't look like their relationship will be developing romantically in the next few eps(according to the trailers) I'm still unfortunately hopeful. Can't wait for next week's episodes to come out!
In book the three Tilan, Tang, Ji Chang are very close..In drama not sure how they gonna take it..On mermaid palm…
Hmm yeah not too sure how the drama is gonna develop the relationship between those through and quite frankly everyone else's relationship bit looking forward to it.
Also the palm thingy as a signal is cool ig. Woild come in handy if she were to somehow fall into the sea again
