Er Lang is not supposed to be lovable. At least not in the beginning. He's spoiled, smart but ignorant of how the world works and he has no interest in people. GBZ has such a sad story, poor chap is besotted with nightmares, guilt and only motivation to live is revenge.

The stage is set for the two couples but won't be the main focus. I am enjoying the unwilling cooperation between GBZ and Baili at the moment, there can't be a worst pairing than this.
I wasn't expecting this drama to be so entertaining! I knew the production would be good since it's almost the same team from Longest Day in Changan and same writer but LDC was hard to follow. This isn't as difficult and they balanced the mystery solving with comedy very well. It took me a while to warm up to Baili because he was so straight laced and wore the sour expression. Kudos to Wang Yibo. Baili is such a funny guy and YB's serious deadpan and his 'cluelessly offends" delivery crack me up every time.
