Yall guys I’m seeing a pattern here. Gmmtv would do this paywall shit to other upcoming shows too with popular pairings coz they need instant cash. They don’t give a shit about international fans. Still they can’t stop me from watching tho lol.

It’s because gmmtv is mass producing BLs and shows so they are trying to fit all the shows of the year in a tight schedule. IMO they are overdoing the production. Anyway it’s ok if this show finishes fast for me tbh.

It was in ep4 where they dressed up as Sikh with turban to do a comic scene. And they also did the mundras and dancing around the tree which I found very unnecessary and culturally appropriated.

The director blocked someone who was giving their honest feedback on the trailer- how the sound was bad in some parts and a staff member just peeking out of the back of a car in one scene. Last time when he faced backlash for the CA scene in FUTS, he was blocking all the accounts that called him out on that and went on liking those comments and tweets that supported it like man gotta go. This director is really doesn’t give an f and he sucks and I hate it that he got earthmix in his series. Now he’s going to ruin it, just like how he did fish upon the sky.

If they gon give us 2 ep per week for a 10 episode show, it’ll end so fast in only 5 weeks. Gmmtv is rushing things to pack all their shows and mass making BLs and I can see that. He isn’t a great director that’s all I got from his previous BL “Fish upon the sky”. He included a scene in ep4 of FUTS that comes across as sheer cultural appropriation which is when I dropped it so I hope he doesn’t fck this series up too.

Girl I’m telling you this argument about a show being a BL or not is messed up and you don’t wanna get into it. I also used to do this critique thing and asked for better representation in BLs but its not that serious. like BLs are not that serious. Most of them just for entertainment. But the bottom line is if it is marketed as a BL, it is a BL. Also fyi, they KNOW from the very start that the souls have exchanged bodies so they are aware of it and they are on a journey to reverse that and return to their original bodies.

Idk what this series struck chord with me but now I suddenly realized. I was born in Assam in northeast of India which is very close to Thailand. The geography and nature and culture is very similar to my hometown. The green hills, the tea gardens and the tribal people are all present in my hometown too. Idk if you noticed but in this series, they make a mention of Assam tea which is globally famous tea. The music was also very close to home- the folk instruments like khlui are also present in my hometown but it has different names. The way of storytelling for the most part felt like the tales that grandma tells the kids in villages.
