Is Li Gong Fls ex because in teaser she is kissing and making out with him and they seemed to be in love. Was it in past or is she going to cheat on the ML in the upcoming episodes. I haven't started yet and was deciding to watch after the trailer but seeing the trailer is this a love triangle one.

To me it seems that the FL knows what's she was getting into before the marriage. There wasn't any love involved in the marriage and both just got together to fullfill their own purposes. Even the FL BF told her about the kind of man DM was and it wasn't something new that what he was doing. The main reason she wasn't much angry after knowing about his extra-martial affair was that she didn't even had much expectation from him before, she knew what kind of man she was marring to and was just in a bliss that it wouldn't happen to her before catching him red-handed.... To me both the leads are business minded and competent and wouldn't mind using or doing anything to get the things done and succeed in their life. All the characters in this drama are grey and it perfectly shows about the glamorous life of today's corporate world. I wouldn't be shocked if the fl didn't divorce the ML after knowing everything about him and just use her marriage to succeed.
So in ep 12 Zhao Mei was imagining she was kissing Dong Yue when in fact it was her husband
Exactly she was sexually hyped after being in the same Hotel room with Dong Yue and went them on her husband while thinking of him. Looks like she has fallen for Dong Yue..... Everyone is fuc..ing around everywhere in this drama and seems quite realistic wrt to the todays Corporate Societies.
Don't post rumours. This show doesn't have cheating and only consist a slow burn romance between the Main leads. Both the leads got married before getting to know each other truely and still had some points for their exes. It's only after they feel ambiguity and loneliness, they starts to lean on each other and starts falling for each other.
I started watching this without trailer and now I saw trailer and Im bummed, the leads really gonna cheat on eachother…
No the leads aren't going to cheat. This is a slow burn and the leads will take time to get into each other as they both are not fully able to escape from their past, especially Li Dong Ming who still had some soft heart for his ex and helps her creating misunderstanding in his married life.
Really a great movie with a beautiful ending. It's also giving a new perspective of where the technological advancement of the Emotional AI could lead in the near future.
At this point it's concerning why Kdramas are being rated so low recently. It has became so rare for a kdrama…
Most Kdrama are following the usual troupe with little innovation in story telling and they get boring after first few episodes, instead I'm finding the Chinese one very well written, acted and executed either be modern drama like Twelve letters, love's Ambition or the costume one's like Female General, Fated hearts etc and so are their rating.
Overall the FL is a fickle and a complete red flag till the end and loves both men at the same time. She is not clear about her feelings throughout the drama and wants to ride both the buses maybe if she gets chance in the future or gets a go signal from chief she would initiate an affair.
I get why the rating is so low, most of the audiance being female can't digest a shady or a red flag ML. They only want the ML/SML or all the other males chasing the FL to be greenest ever that's why most of these Cdrama and kdrama writers are forced to write only a unidirectional ML/SML who are basically simps and are like a pet dog to the FL needs to get a higher rankings ( the ML/SML basically protects/ love her in everyway without expecting anything in return and gets happy with a little throw of a cookie towards him and starts wagging his tail around her again)😄😄

It was told in the 1st episode that the ML father worked under the marquis and was his trusted aid or friend, I think Marquis was forced to kill the ML family by the 3rd person who is extremely powerful or emperor himself and now he is using ML to remove all those who were involved in the conspiracy by making him powerful, training him and protecting him through sifu gang so that he could confront the real enemy.

The man in mask is probably marquis Ping jin that's why they're hiding his face and he was once a trusted aid of the ML father and a friend before being forced to kill his family under some pressure from higher up ( probably emperor or empress / the third person involved). Now he is paving the path for the Ml to power and using him to remove those involved in the conspiracy also the shifu circle is led by the marquis himself that's why they are so skilled and adopted in warfare. 2. Also when the hidden weapon to kill the marquis was obtained by the man in the mask just after few minutes of installation by the ML in the prayer room, everything seems fishy as if the man in the mask is in marquis house or the marquis himself. That's just my theory let's see what happens next.
I think Duke Ping jin knows everything about the ML and is somehow using him to remove those who killed the ML father, Maybe the man in the the mask is Duke Ping jin himself and he was forced to kill the ML family. I think he is the one from enemy kingdom along with the FL and is the main villain trying to destroy the state of ML through him, maybe there is a background story why the duke Ping jin killed the ML family as he was a close aid of ML father in the past🤔🤔
