Exactly like the recent drama I had a crush on you were the FL makes the ML do her housework while she treats her ex-boyfriend and her parents for dinner made by him and is discussing her marriage with the ex-boyfriend infront of the ML and told her parents that he was just a janitor. or the Korean drama welcome to Samdal, where the ML ,SML wait for 13 years for FL and remained virgin while the FL just comes home after making new relationship and getting cheated on,.... The list goes and I think it's now trend in all these drama to make the ML simp/ virgin/ who would only love FL even after she cheats on him, marriage or date someone else while he still begs her forgiveness when she cuckold him to continue their relationship 🫡🫡🫡

She hasn't apologize yet as she is still sailing both the boat, the ML doesn't need apology as he is a Sigma male lead who has every thing green from up to down 👇. ML clearly mentioned in one episode that she used to snuggle at night (sleep together) with SML, so it clearly means she has feelings and they both needed to release their harmones. It's not a cindrella virgin love story like every one is mentioning because of their favourite starts acting, there would have been no rumours if their was no wind arising.

The novel has LR as the Main character while both the Males were someone she used to release her harmones through her journey to become Empress and how she became all powerful and independent.

It's not all white as it seems, the one who forced SRQ to poison LR in the novel was her own brother LC in the past. Let's see how the FL feels when she knows the truth and realise how her bad decision impacted the life's of her loved ones like PWX and LC, hope the drama has a little redemption arc and makes LR relise about her mistakes, not like in novel were she is annoying till the end

He is reincarnated himself and knows the past of how PWX had kept LR in his first life and how lonely and miserable she was after their marriage. He has shared her pain and sorrow and knows the ins and out of their past married relationship after being together with LR for long time, that's why he was telling PWX that "he can't make LR happy or he was not suitable for her highness".

SRQ is also reincarnated while LC doesn't remember the past

So why did she kept someone who liked her, feed her and sleep together if she didn't like him 🤣🤣, was she a fanatic or cheap women like found in modern times. I know commenting that the love between PWX-LR was eternal and it transcendented the two lifetimes and wanting this drama to show a pure virgin love story but it isn't, as someone mentioned below LR wasn't a Mary Su, and nor was it her character. She has ended her relationship with PWX at that point so it's not wrong for her to look out for something new or find someone else, do you think she wasted her whole 17-20 years weeping for PWX love when she clearly hated him and doesn't trust him at all even till now in her second life.

As someone posted below, I think it's getting clearer in bits and pieces how the drama wants to portray the past relationship of LR and SRQ was and shows LR indecisiveness or shyness when it comes to SRQ. I think the drama is now aligning with the character development of the novel slowly but the production is avoiding giving a much clearer view and using the sweet moments or kissing scenes to cover their misunderstanding or angst. There were two important scenes that describe the feelings of LR towards SRQ in the past from both LR and PWX POVs;

1. The scene at night were the female lead is seen talking to her other self when she is deciding whom to choose between SRQ and PWX, her other self said to her that do you forget that you were together with SRQ for past 20 years in your thick and thin, are you sure you don't have any feelings for him after living so long together? , and in response to it she clearly accepts that she still has some lingering feelings for him and can't forget him easily. Also in one flashback LR was seen weeping to SRQ in her deathbed how she regret missing getting married to him ( I don't think she said this only after misunderstanding ML had killed her, she clearly has other feelings upto that point after living with him)

2. In the bath scene were the ML is scene talking to his other self, he clearly shown mentioning that in the past life LR was his wife and SRQ was an eunuch that's why they could only snuggle at night (sleep together) and couldn't go any further to have child or family but in this life SRQ has everything and he needs to be more active to pursue LR otherwise he would loose her completely in this life.

What I want to say is all these flashback and self confrontation of both the leads shows us that in the past life it was SRQ whom the FL loved after breaking her relationship with PWX and started hating him. A good few episodes of the past is now needed to show the way why PWX is behaving so hurried in this life to clear all his misunderstanding and confess to LR about his feelings clearly while also being nervous about LR choosing SRQ over him whenever he sees her mention been together and why the FL always compare PWX and SRQ when she thinks about her future and whom she should settle leading to her back and forth indecisiveness.

All these emotions you're talking are just taking roots now in her second life. It's clearly shown in the flashbacks how deeply she hated PWC for past 17 years and never got near to him and ended her relationship. Can't a person like two persons throughout his life, she broked her relationship with PWX and never thought about him for 17 years while getting closer to someone new how can you say that she only loved PWX throughout her both life When she herself is questioning about her longing sentiments for SRQ in different episodes and even seen saying that she regret missing marrying him near her death bed in a flashback. In first life she didn't know that SRQ or her brother would be evil and both are the reason for her death, it's only in second life that's she is getting things shorted out and analysing how her past decisions had badly effected the life of her near ones.

Are we watching the same drama, in ep 18 she clearly didn't say a word to SRQ or tried to stop him from proposing her to marry and her actions and words are always careful towards SRQ so as not to hurt him. SRQ was someone who was too close to her for 17 years when she was all alone, he was the one who gave her peace, solace and everything in her past life that's why she never stops SRQ even when he tries to insult PWX infront of her or tries to stop her from investigation. She clearly knows that SRQ haf loved her for past 17 years and if not for his family pressure and castration they would have married in their past life, as he was the one to reject the princess proposal of marriage when she asked to divorce PWX and get together in her past life.

You're right there, if SRQ had tried as hard as PWX or even a little she would have definitely jumped into his arms without any hesitation. She didn't trust PWX for 17 whole years and was in serious relationship with SRQ and still thinks that if she got closer to him she could make him a better person.

Consort Rou son is made out of affair between first master of Su family, so he is basically SRQ blood related and SRQ thinks by making him a ruler he can gain more power for his family. For SRQ his family is always above everything else in his life and he believes that after the Su family starts ruling through Concert Rou son he could ask for LR hands openly for marriage and get her even by force as that was his biggest condition to support consort Rou son in the novel. SRQ is a type of character who has great ambitions and could go to any length to get what he wants that's why even LR felt his behaviour extremely common to her and got so closer to him in her first life. Also he doesn't want Li chun as King as he was the one who forced SRQ in first life to poison his sister LR, so he has hatred against him and believe him to be an inaept ruler.

He is getting the arrogance from LR silence, as LR is still creating hope for him and their romance and he is now clearly waiting for LR and PWX divorce.

Biggest problem is she herself isn't clear whom she wants, she loved both the man in her previous life but was betrayed by both and her inclination towards SRQ was because she thought him to be of same kind of person to her, who was ambitious has good background and clever while she felt PWX was below her as being from a common family and was only adoring her because of her family background and wants to gain power while scheming behind her.

That's one the best analysis right there. She always felt PWC is from common family and was using her for only gaining power making her look down on him, while SRQ was someone whom she find equal to her in power and had comman beliefs like her

If only, a man like PWX can exit in real ???, In reality a man like PWX can only be originated from the wet dreams of a lonely female writer. No man in reality would let his wife be in relationship with someone else and get cuckolded for 17 years without giving her divorce and later gets killed by her. But this simp right here is still busy chasing the girl even after getting trampled again and again by the same women who herself isn't clear were her sexual harmones are flowing and whom to choose. Overall this is a drama made out of someone's fantasy and should be treated as such.
