For people who don’t like Mew, be honest please , is this BL as bad even if Mew wasn’t in it…? If someone…
6.9 is indeed low. I've watched the first two episodes and have not rated it yet. I normally wait till midway to give ratings, unless it's something I'm really impressed with and hooked after just one episode. For this one, I wasn't impressed. It's not as bad but not that good either. I'd say the first two episodes were bland and unconvincing.
If Mew wasn't in it? Mmn, I'd probably have the same impression. It's just not giving much or anything, YET. Hopefully, the next episodes will be much better.
There are 16 eps😳,why? As much as I love pond phuwin-did phuwin improved a bit(phuwim is not that good at expressing…
I've only ever watched this pairing in one series which I also dropped, that was Never Let Me Go. And in comparison, I'd say their acting has really improved. But this is a different genre, a comedy. So maybe they are just good in comedy??? We'll see in the next episodes. But as far as episode 1 goes, it was fun, good fun. No cringe for me.
I'm confused about some comments talking about Takashi's playboy image. So I watched again from the beginning,…
Thank you for pointing this out. As I was a confused too and doesn't really see Iwanaga as a bad guy or playboy. I plan to rewatch everything once episode 6 is out. This is already in my fave list and will probably rewatch a couple of times.
as is Gulf's singing. If you don't like it, don't watch it, that's all.
Being a fan of an actor, doesn't require you to be an anti-fan of another. Practice what you preach, if you hate an actor then leave him be, don't bring him up any chance you get.
And you yourself try to speak a language you don’t know. We will see. Even if Mew spoke Korean, people like…
I don't think it's hatred. It's an observation. It can't be helped cos it's how his character is described in the series, a global superstar established in Korea with a Korean father and understands Korean. So naturally it is expected that he would speak at least a Korean word. It's not a stupid argument. If the creators had no plans of having him speak the language then they shouldn't have made his character like that. He could just be a famous Thai actor visiting Korea for a movie shoot and that would explain why he doesn't speak the language. Then the audience wouldn't be complaining or criticizing that aspect of the series.
i was enjoying it until they broke up for what? just because it's the penultimate episode?? hahaha
I don't think they're completely broken up. They're taking a break. They are still each other's lovers. From what I understood. Anyway, it'll all be cleared in the last episode. For sure.
Many bit...s sit here and criticize the series based on only 2 episodes. And for some reason, Mew is mostly blamed…
I dislike the series but not the actors. I dislike it so far cos I just don't buy the idea that they all understand each other conversing in two different languages. I am not saying the main character should speak Korean, or the other characters speak Thai all throughout the series cos that would be impossible. I was thinking the main character should as least speak a word or two Korean phrases, and vice versa, to make it more like believable. Cos it just seem ridiculous that they're talking back and forth in two completely different languages (thus far). As previously mentioned, there's a Taiwanese and Korean BL where the main actors at least spoke lines in both languages. That at least was believable.
Also, they have made it so that the main character has been working and staying in Korea for awhile. If they couldn't be bothered to have the actors speak the language, then they should have made it so that the character is just visiting Korea for a shoot and that would explain why he doesn't speak the language. If the audience doesn't know the actor's background, they wouldn't care if he's Thai or whatever, the audience would only care how the characters are portrayed in the series. He is portrayed as a global superstar and established in Korea, has a Korean father and understands Korean. That's what the series is telling the audience, so naturally the audience would assume and expect he speaks Korean. Unless the creators thinks that the audience are stupid and gullible.
I am not blaming the actors really but you got into the actors argument, so...
If there's one thing an actor is good at or should be good at, it's memorizing lines, even if those lines are in another language or dialect. There have been several films where actors speak another language that they're not fluent in but they still pull it off. And I'm sure Mew and the other actors can pull it off too, if only the creators incorporated it in the series. So as I've said I really don't blame the actors. It's the creators of the show who probably just wanted to get it over with.
Anyways, hopefully there'll be a development in the next episodes.
