Watched the series a long time ago and wasn't really impressed. But now that I've rewatched it with the movie version, I actually like it, much better than my first impression. I specifically love the last scene; that song and the kiss. Have that song now on my Spotify playlist.
For someone to understand another language, surely one would have learned a few phrases of that language. Maybe they should at least had him say a few Korean phrases, or vice versa, to make it at least believable. I remember a BL with Korean and Taiwanese actors, and that one at least had one of the actors speak some Korean. Cos it just seem ridiculous them talking in two different languages and perfectly understand each other. Like really???As for the plot itself, nothing much happened in the first two episodes.
I'm surprised about all the negative comments on here, since I really enjoyed watching this. I think the actors…
The actors did a decent job. I think more of the criticism was on the flow and pacing of the story, at least for me it was. It was like one episode was disconnected from the previous one or there was a time lapse that I missed. But I do agree that overall it was a good watch.
Anyone else getting Given and A shoulder to cry on vibes from this show?
Given probably cos of it's musical theme. ASTCO? Mmmn not really. Is it because the lead made a cameo here? ASTCO was about sports and there wasn't bullying or anything of that sort, if I remember correctly.
