And I LOVE that both FLs know how to read the room. They’re smart enough to know that showing everyone how capable you are isn’t always the smartest move. Sometimes you have to keep quiet, pretend you don’t know something or let people underestimate you until the right moment……
They’re not just “strong female leads” for the sake of it. They know how to survive. They know when to bend, when to push back and when to keep their cards close

Xiao Heng aka Duke Su and Shen Run feel more like kindred souls who somehow ended up as two completely different men in two different dramas.
They have that same presence, intelligence, confidence and slightly untouchable energy that makes you immediately pay attention whenever they’re on screen.
So if you’re watching Spring of the Blade for Shen Run / Yan Rui and enjoying that particular type of ML, I’d definitely give The Double a try for Xiao Heng. ?
