Title Tomorrow with You Spoiler
Things im confused about that will probably never be answered:

What changed in the timeline that made it so that So Joon would live past March 25, 2019? He suddenly woke up in 2020 after being stabbed in 2017. How did this alternate timeline where he gets stabbed and goes missing even happen? Was it when he married Ma Rin that he changed his fate? But i thought he'd already seen that they'd be married in the future.

How did So Joon die when he was supposed to die the same day as Ma Rin? I rewatched episode 3 but I'm unsure . Did the future So Joon sit in the car and wait to be hit by other cars after Ma Rin was hit?

Doo Shik, why did he leave Ma Rin and his wife in the first place?
Also, I wonder why all three of them were destined to die on the same day. And why did Doo Shik want So Joon to be with Ma Rin in the beginning? Because as I remember, they weren't destined to meet.

I'm also wondering how long Doo Shik was a time traveler. Since when he met So Joon, he already knew so much more. So i'm doubting he became one after the train incident.

Title With You Spoiler
I think the ending is open in the sense that it doesn't show them in a relationship, marriage, have children and…
Okay now I can understand your view on this because I agree that Yu Huai and Geng Geng's relationship did have some progression in the way that they started off disliking each other to gradually liking each other.

However, I don't really understand where he got the courage to reciprocate her feelings for him. In the last episode he was pushing her away, and then he decided that it was time to gain some closure on their relationship, from my view it seemed like he felt he atleast needed to explain his feelings from the past for her. I also don't see how it seemed heavily implied that they'd be together. It seemed to me like they'd stay the same way they'd always had been, as friends.

Also, I like what you've said about the Luo Zhi and Geng Geng comparison, I hadn't thought about it that way. I felt like the drama changed in terms of Geng Geng and Yu Huai's friendship/relationship. (I know the plot already spoils the fact that he leaves her) But without reading the plot, you would think that Yu Huai and Geng Geng would stick by each other and reciprocate each others feelings in the end. Or atleast fight to be with each other. I didn't feel like Yu Huai fought too much for her, it seemed like he gave up towards the ending episodes with Geng Geng trying to persuade him that she doesn't care about the image that he's trying to protect her from.

I can understand your view on the ending. It showed me that Geng Geng was still willing to be around Yu Huai because at the end of it all, they are still friends. But for me I would have liked to see Yu Huai atleast confess to Geng Geng and let her know that he does feel the same way about her rather than push her away until the very end and then make the decision to meet her half way.

Right, I understand. Sorry if it seemed like I was attacking lol.

I think the ending is open in the sense that it doesn't show them in a relationship, marriage, have children and…
My rating has to do with the reasoning behind why I watched the show. I watched the show for the romance aspect of it, and I was hoping to see a gradual progression between Yu Huai and Geng Geng throughout high school into adulthood. And from the synposis the entire drama is supposed to be about Geng Geng adjusting to a new school and meeting and then falling for her desk buddy Yu Huai. The only thing i see that the drama set out to do was to show how Geng Geng changed throughout her interactions with Yu Huai and her friends and was able to become a photographer which is something she liked to do. But you can't deny Yu Huai was a big portion of the story and Geng Geng's life. And for their ending to fall flat seems to be more than enough reason to rate this drama lower.

I can see your point, where we can see how sucessful Geng Geng is so that may be considered as her own "happy ending". However if you think about the drama as a whole, Geng Geng spent most of her time with Yu Huai, developed feelings and thought they'd always be together. However towards the end, he leaves her for 10 years. Only to return and still reject her even when she's willing to put aside the fact that he left her without a trace.

I don't think the drama deserved 9.0 rating or above because of the direction that the drama changed towards the end. The entire last episode was the complete opposite of what I expected it to be. And for someone who was expecting a good ending with the leads, we didn't receive that. We got a tease that they would get closure on their relationship and then it ended.

If you liked the drama from the standpoint that we got to see Geng Geng's change from adolescence into an adult, then I can understand that view. I too enjoyed watching Geng Geng change. But for a drama to be truly good it has to be great as a whole and from my point of view it wasn't. This drama sort of reminds me of what I felt when watching the drama "Dream High" because that drama too lacked romance, but it was still a great story. This drama focused alot and spent a great deal on Geng Geng and Yu Huai's relationship and progression in school and then we are left guessing on what may have happened next. This ending is also similar to a chinese drama that I'd watched recently which was "The Perfect Match"

But as you said, to each their own.

This really isnt the drama for romance.

I was really liking the show and hoping that the relationship between Geng Geng and Xu Huai would progress as their time in school went along. By the plot on MDL i was expecting him to leave much sooner in the story, but it happened towards the very end. I started to find the drama was progressing pretty slowly after they began to move towards college entrance exams. Then the ending ruined all possible hope that I had left for the drama.

The ending was essentially open. She rejected the only guy who'd been pursuing her openly the entire show. Also, Xu Huai never truly confessed to her. The one kiss of the show happened in the last episode and even then it wasn't really romantic because he pushed her away.

I couldn't believe they just ended it like that, it felt very unfinished and the only person I truly feel bad for is the second lead.

I rated it a 6.0 only because I really liked the beginning of this drama and the friendships Geng Geng had with everyone. Also, despite it all, there were some cute scenes between Geng Geng and Xu Huai. I only wish she had a better ending like her senior Luo Zhi did.

It really sucks that after episode 17, I started to get bored. I felt like dropping the drama as most of the comments have mentioned, but somehow through alot of skipping, I managed to finish the drama. I really was enjoying the drama until it became so draggy.

I didn't mind how dramatic it was, because I mean.. it is a T-drama afterall. Most Taiwanese dramas are like this, and when I was first introduced to dramas those were majority of what I watched. While it was dramatic, I don't think it's as over the top as some T-dramas that i've seen over the years.

Nonetheless, I don't regret watching, because there were some really cute moments between the leads until the plot started thickening and dragging(Pretty much before episode 17). But, I wish they ended the drama sooner, and that's saying something because I like longer dramas. I rated it 6.5/10.

I must point out though, I really loved Ah Wei's wadrobe lol.

Do I recommend? Maybe? It had a decent ending, and the show was interesting. But there are plenty of other dramas that were way better, that I can say. If you want a cooking romance drama that's really good and you won't have to skip around to enjoy AND also a Taiwanese drama, check out Pleasantly Surprised. It's one of my favorites.

Yeah.. I didn't really see that ending coming, (where Jae Hoon ended up going back to the company of the man whom had his father take the fall for Woo Sung). I expected that animosity to stay in his character. I also don't like that there wasn't any justice for his father.. and Woo Sung is still working at the company lol.

It's as if nothing really changed just that Hyuk's father is in jail. I guess that was to show some realism? I'll never know.

The ending of the drama, I expected but I was hoping there was alot more romance than it was. I don't think we ever really got a confession out of Baek Jun where she accepted Hyuk's feelings, it was just a sort of "go with the flow" kind of situation. They kissed one episode, then a whole bunch of drama, Jae Hoon confesses to her, she cries, and then end up leaving together with Hyuk lol. It's a shame because I was really liking the drama, and I found it interesting. But the romance component was something I was really looking forward to, I loved Shi Won in his other roles (She Was Pretty, Skip Beat!) but this one wasn't my cup of tea like many others.

The only thing I probably really liked about the ending is the cleaners and that friendship, and that they were able to get jobs at the company. And Jae Hoon was finally smiling throughout the entire episode.
--
One thing I was curious about is how do non-employees get to run around the company as much as Baek Jun was doing? lol, when she wasn't working at the company, somehow she'd always be able to pop up.

Okay, so there is so much wrong with this drama that I won't even start xD That said, don't expect a…
Agreed with the "don't question anything" xD Did they even explain really how Moo-Myung wasn't originally beheaded? At first I thought he was coming to them as a ghost because he just randomly showed up.

This comment is interesting because I actually watched Queen In Hyun's Man before this one. >_> (which I loved)

Do you know why Ji Won kept hearing those noises or what they were supposed to be referring to? I couldn't figure it out lol.

I agree with all of these, especially the frozen or "dead fish" as i'd like to call it, kisses. Those are huge buzz kill and I hate it the most.

Also, the weak female leads are what i've started to notice a lot more while watching. Before I didn't mind as much but now it does make me cringe. I blame healer because after I finally watched it, I felt like Park Chae Young's character was very strong. Compared to Love in the Moonlight Kim Yoo Jung's character which I saw as weak (still loved the drama though).

Simply beautiful.
I haven't finished it yet. I am only up to episode 12, but I am in love with this drama. It's made me smile, laugh, and cry. I haven't really felt any rage while watching this at all, so that's a plus. I haven't had a drama I enjoyed this much in a long time. I also don't feel like it's draggy either but then again i'm still not finished.

I was hoping someone could help me out with the questions I have after finishing Healer.

Who was the one that abused Chae Yeong Sin? that had the metal rod and was coming towards her into the closet. I had the impression she was abused when she was younger, but the drama never explained that flashback?

Who killed Park Dong Chul with the metal pipe? This i think was also never explained, either that or I missed it completely.

I am so excited someone made an article about this. I've been waiting for an article that talked about the new remakes. I have officially seen all the other adaptions to Itazura na Kiss, But ISWAK will hands down remain my ultimate favorite.

They are also coming out with two movies in Japanese of the adaptions, as well that I have added to my PTW list. I think i'll add this version to my list but I am not sure if i'll watch when it comes out. I think I may be too attached to the original Taiwanese version. xD

There's a recommendation in this drama (if you scroll up a little and look at the recommendations) that says this…
Whenever something that is moving fast that he can see, his eyes kind of slow it down and he's able to block it or move it away. lol it's pretty funny to watch actually.
