Honestly, this is one of those dramas that while I'm glad I've seen it.. I could've lived without it. I only watched it after finishing Falling For Your Smile and the comments were saying that this drama was superior to that one. In terms of romance which is what I was watching this drama for, I wasn't that impressed. It was a bit cringe worthy at times and the flashbacks were too much as well. I won't be continuing the series with the spinoff because Wu Bai didn't really say much the entire show of go go squid and when he did it didn't really add anything to his character. 7/10. I highly doubt I'd rewatch this, the cringe and flashbacks did too much damage lol.
Although the ending was very realistic and opposite of what I expected (in a good way). I can't help but want more. I wanted more interactions with Nok du and his mother. I also wanted better closure from Nok du and his father. Considering the fact the father realized, too late, that Nok du never had his eyes on the title of king, I wish that they had that face to face closure rather than in a closing monologue of the king.
I'm really glad i stumbled upon this drama. I found it by accident, read the comments and decided to give it a go after finishing Love and Redemption. This drama did not disappoint. It has become one of my favorites now.

I'm really confused about Si Feng & Xuan Ji's illfated past lives. What makes the 10th tribulation so different from the others? Why does she seem to care about him more in their current life than she did in the previous ones? Is it the lack of her six senses or was something done differently in their current trial?
It's okay to spoil this for me if you must to answer my question, or you could let me know if this will be explained in the future.. or will I have to figure that out on my own.
I'm only on episode 4 and I love love love this drama. I'm not sure why this was sitting on my PTW (Plan to watch) list for so long, glad I picked it up.
dropped at Eisode8, it was just so boring, nothing seemed to be happening and I was enjoying the secondary couple…
I'm on episode 7, and i'm literally struggling to continue. I understand slow burn dramas, I've watched some before. But this is one where I can find that I'm not entirely paying attention all the way throughout. I get bored and start multi-tasking, which I usually don't do if i'm totally into a drama. I hate dropping a drama and I was really trying to continue just to see why this was so highly rated but I'm not even sure if I can lol. I don't agree with the choices of the characters, nor do I find them super interesting. So i'm basically watching just to watch. Glad to see there are other opinions other than the ones I kept seeing.
That's an interesting way to look at it. But i don't think i would've expected a character with ADP to have such a spectacular turnaround in development within 16 episodes. Nonetheless, it was enough for me, but it seems it wasn't for you. And it is your opinion and I can respect it.
The ending of this drama was so cute, almost cried but I held it in & the ending cut scene of this drama was hilarious! They really put so much thought into this drama, i'm really going to miss it. It was a valley of emotions, but I definitely recommend it. Don't let comments deter you from watching, try 1-5 episodes and decide for yourself!
