AMAZING. the OSTs, storyline, and characters were all brilliant. ML Nam Joo Hyuk was incredible with his subtle expressions, you could really feel with him, and Lee Jun Hyuk's character was so satisfying to watch. each episode reels you in, without losing its theme. this show is a subtle, not so subtle critique of society and shows you each kind of person within it. because of this, Vigilante is one of a kind.
it really made me reflect on how killing or taking down people doesn't actually stop the root of evil. in reality, evil and goodness is something we cultivate within ourselves. like everything in life, it starts small and grows. a harsh word, a disciplined mind, a selfless act.. every choice we make establishes the generation that will come after us, nourishing either love or hatred. perhaps, this is why we are still not saved, because we haven't committed ourselves to that goodness. may Allah hasten the appearance of the real "Vigilante" of our time Imam Mahdi 🙏

I knoww his character was so refreshing! I only knew him from Stranger and he was a completely different person in Vigilante I need to see him do that more. reminded me of that one brother from Graceful Family.
this drama made me LAUGH OUT LOUD, and that doesn't usually happen! it's so silly. sure, it had some cliches and dragged a little. it wasn't perfect. but the leads are amazing, the romance is cute (healthy too), and the drama is absolutely memorable. it had a vibe you don't get from many kdramas I loved all the characters. it's worth the watch and has a special in my heart. i'm going to miss it 💕

I disagree. Morality is not forcibly explored in the show because it allows you to think about it. The entire show dangles the idea of righteousness over you, most notably in Jiyoung and Jo Heon's conversations. You have a journalist whose passion lies between bringing down criminals and giving the public “what they want,” police who would rather crack down on the Vigilante and make ethically questionable decisions than focusing on worse criminals, and officials who prioritize public order and villainizing our lead instead of working to change the system (not to mention some are corrupt). Each episode conveys the larger part of the problem and needs you to reflect as you watch.
For such a short series, especially one based on a webtoon, it was not only incredibly satisfying in its execution but also conveyed its message carefully. So this is not an issue with a show, only a matter of preference.
