i dont know if they will adapt this, but in the novel shi guy brainwash her in order to kill sima jiao, and she dont remember their story but she repeat that phrase of hers about "no reason"

as far i know, she's brainwashed to think she is the shi guy daughter and they went to live in demon world, so she learn to kill and has to kill some people but only for survival purpose. the fact of kill or not to her is not because of some kind of morality gig, its bc she dont think its necessary/dont want to.

i do think that dudu has this power, even if you dont like her at first, when you give yourself the chance to know more about her, her personality, work mindset and everything, you start to like her until you fall in love. i regret the times i didnt alow myself to know abt her,i hope i can support her in the future
