according to drama, cang hai is the monarch of moluo chan, and xiangyun is cang hai (look at the cast list and go back to 1st episode). as for the saintess, in episode 12 the actual leader of moluo clan says that she is hiding (probably on yingshi or its yingshi who doesnt remember), the saintess and cang hai are two different characters

as someone who has already dropped other yang chao yue dramas and is knowledgeable in acting, i can say that the girl has improved.

as someone who know the novel, this drama really dissapoint. 7.5 for the sake of Dilraba and Gong Jun who did a really good job despite the messy script

some of the best scenes of this dramas and the variety of facial expressions that dilireba and gong jun portrayed are most likely to be adlibs too (like the nose scene), i watched a part of interview and thinking about the script i ended with this conclusion

the only thing i want is another collab of dilraba and gong jun. and i recommend y'all take a time and read the novel, it's worth

the only good thing about the drama is the acting of the leads, but at least they delivered good angsty scenes from ep 33 onwards, also i'm not asking too much and i'm not adept of harsh criticism, so i will be generous with the rating (it will be between 7.5-8)

chulan is hilarious

because the drama dont follow many things of the novels, the script that wasnt that good was messed up more after episode 17 when was decided that the scripwriters of the drama would work on other things, also youku had issues with the production company.
