Actually in novel he was starving himself. I wonder if he actually did that here as well.

I'm gonna pretend i didn't see the blue shorts worn by Ming during the NC scene, but yes safe sex always!
Same. I was like, "Okay! you were wearing shorts under a towel?" Also when Ming kissed Joe all the way down there was so hot except Joe was also wearing printed shorts?!

Even if Ming is extremely rich, how is he going to pay 100 million baht to the kidnappers... That's an enormous…
In the novel Ming has his own company and manages one of his dad's companies too. Apparently he is one of the biggest investors in the country. Bro is loaded.

y'all in the comments are being so mean to joe's character lmao, obviously none of you experienced being so in…
Ming is genuine this time. So, Joe wanted to give him another chance. And they cut most of the scenes and changed a lot from the original novel where Joe needed to be coaxed, assured and pursued a lot by Ming before they started again. Why people don't want Joe to give Ming a chance when they are so much in love with each other and ready to fight to stay together?

How did they change it?
Ming calling Tong 'a piece of sh*t' was music to my ear. Tong should not die rather change his ways because, his wife is a nice woman who supports Ming & Joe's relationship and probably pregnant.

Title My Stand-In Spoiler
How did they change it?
It was Ming who was beaten because, Joe told Ming's dad that Ming won't marry any woman and they will stay together. So, Ming's dad beat him to the point that he had to be sent to hospital. But, Ming was still happy because, Joe stood up for their relationship. But in drama, Joe gets beaten and probably will have to use the wheel chair for sometime.

Unpopular opinion (apparently?) but imho Ming isn't responsible for Joes death. He didnt kill him, he didnt force…
Of course, Ming's initial personality unhealthy. This is why we see redemption arc in his character. Similar to Joe's. You can see a lot of growth in his character. Like finally putting his self respect before his infatuation for Ming, or drawing boundaries. Isn't growth what we look for in this series?

Title My Stand-In: Uncut Spoiler
Unpopular opinion (apparently?) but imho Ming isn't responsible for Joes death. He didnt kill him, he didnt force…
Ming is not as red as they shown him in first part in drama. In novel thought Joe was not a suitable replacement for Tong's character as he was not as skilled in acting as Tong. And if the movie flopped then it would make Joe depressed and mocked. So, he decided that he would invest money to get the best director and screenwriter to create a main role which will suit Joe. He too Joe to meet the director and from there he ran away. There was no clear communication between them too. Also, Ming is from such a disfunctional family along with a fact that he never loved or dated anyone, Joe's kind and mature love was foreign to him. He just knew he can't live without Joe anymore. He knew Joe liked him for his good looks, so when he met pretty Sol who also pursue Joe he lost his mind.
In novel, Ming kind of felt relieved that he finally can let go his childish love for Tong after his engagement and focus fully on Joe. But it was too late for that.
I personally believe, Joe's lack of boundaries made Ming think no matter how he treats Joe, he will never leave. Ming was arrogant, selfish and self centered. But he suffered greatly after Joe's death. The only thing that I can't accept how he treated new Joe in Novel. In novel, his emotions were unhinged and acted like a mad person with the Joe he suspected was the real one.
