Why did they think that inviting groups for S5 instead of individuals like how they always did in the previous seasons? Why would they think this will work? These groups alr have a dedicated fan base that'll obviously make things very bias when it comes to voting. Like how INTO1 have more international fans than local ones and how the older members are less known by the voters.
The old format is more welcoming to me cus it'll attract many people who support these different individual participants whereas S5 format only is appealing to those who alr heard of these groups and would be bias against others.
Reading some comments saying that it's a bit rushed or S1 was better but to me, I think both were good! Love S1 with all the character building and pacing but I find S2's fights are more exciting. Esp the fight at the last episode got me on the edge of my seat!
Why was his programmer friend in the hoodie never shown? Thought there would be a face reveal but in the end it was never revealed. And when he woke up in the 'real' world, that schoolmate said that his friend never studied programming but economics in America.
So i have a sudden thought that what if the friend nvr existed at all? What if all of this was the MC's imagination because he was so lonely as a child that he created someone to talk to about his ideas, his plans for a game and the VR world? After all, RLZ is found out to be an NPC who can go into both worlds so somehow so it isn't too much of a stretch to say that his so called 'friend' might not exist either and it's all in the MC's mind.
Can someone explain to me the last ep, the one in "50 years later", because I was confused if it was his dream…
I just finished watching this show and have the same questions as you too.
But to my understanding, the MC believes that everything that happened in the virtual world is also real and as long as you have the data stored from before replicated/reproduced, you can bring back game 'Spi Realm' which was what the MC spent 50 yrs on to recreate it so he can go back to that obsidian house with everyone the way he remember them as.
Hello friend! Do you know if there is any chinese version existing for genius like show or immersive games with…
Hi! Sorry the ones I watch were from YT and they dont have any eng subs on them. I dont think there's any since this is not a popular show outside. Though, most of the puzzles are quite self-explanatory so maybe you could give it a try? Hope this helps.

Hi! There's actually a chinese variety show called Super Brain that I think would be something you're looking for. And there's eliminations with the last one standing to win the Super Brain trophy. There's like 11 seasons of it.
I love Zhou Shen the moment I saw him sing Big Fish on Sing!China when he partnered with one of the contestants. Then I start researching abt him and fell in love with him even more when I saw how far he'd come. Despite being short and having an (amazing!) high pitch voice for a guy, he has really come a long way and I love him because of how strong and persistent he is!
I esp love watching more sides of him in Keep Running and his interactions with others! <3
Oh wow. I've just finished it and I have to say, this show is AMAZING! Love the mysteries and the delivery behind it. And the end.....MINDBLOWING!! Simply worth the watch. And it's just nice too, not too draggy and not too short.<3
As much as I dislike cliffhangers, this show has been an entertaining ride for me and I enjoyed the story, characters and the mysteries very much! Bai Yu is such a great actor!<3

This is so stupid... What a letdown...:(
