I think it's a decent show, but 8.8 is definitely too high (tbh it'll probably even out after it finishes airing). I wish they had touched on 1. longer, like his torture/trauma, but it ended up being just a passing plot point... + I went into this show looking for a gritty, serious FL, not a cutesy one I can't imagine as a general (although her action scenes are pretty fire). It's a pity because I feel like Zhou Ye could pull it off, but her acting in some scenes has been off... I blame the script lol. I'm hoping that Cheng Lei's upcoming drama (Shadow Love) is better at least

The writer revived Signal after 10 years, so maybe she will write Kingdom season 3 afterwards...? maybe?? 😭

Glad I could help!! It does start out slow (introducing the large cast of characters) but it picks up around ep 6. also the FL has a lot of character growth lol. Definitely worth it and it's one of my fav dramas
