I think it's because this show took a lot of inspiration from a Taiwanese movie, "your name engraved herein".…
In many Eastern countries, Christian churches are usually also schools as well. In fact, not being a school would be much more unusual. Also the Catholic Church has an old, prejudiced belief (shocking I know) that it’s preferable to send a priest who is western (aka white) to lead a school than allow a priest who was born and raised in the eastern country. So yes, those two commonalities in the plot are not remotely surprising. More importantly, TTH hasn’t aired yet so we can’t realistically say just how similar the two stories will be. I prefer to watch the series first.

It didn’t take any inspiration. The directors for both projects are gay men who were both raised as Christians/Catholics. The only inspiration would be they both, like many people raised in a religion that condemns their sexuality, grew up questioning/struggling with how to reconcile who they are with what they were taught to believe. There are lots of works, in all forms of media, that discuss this same theme because it weighs so heavily on so many people.
At D3 for LOL Phuwin announced they have a concert coming that will be at Impact Arena (so proud of them both!) so I anticipate they will try to air PAM around the same time as the concert.
For anyone hesitant, I suggest watching the special. That has to be one of the most in depth specials I’ve seen for a gmmtv series. They really gave a deep insight into the creation and filming process, including preparing all of the actors for their roles. It’s clear how serious P’Aof is about doing justice to such heavy and complex themes. One of my personal concerns was about casting two non-Christian actors in the title roles. P’Aof acknowledging and talking about the work he did to help GeminiFourth get past those difficulties was very reassuring.
Prom wasn't fine a few days ago, people found out he's problematic around 3 years ago. He admitted on peeking…
The comments about the peeping were dismissed under the explanation of it being a mistranslation and cultural misunderstanding the statements were fan translated not a formal translator. He comes from a family of billionaires and anti-defamation lawsuits in Thailand can be extremely brutal so the issue was never pursued. The other statements were from official translations though.
The debut of MarcProm (and I shudder in horror even typing that) is slated for another series. I think there will only be minor hints at most. Still disappointing but as long as it doesn’t negatively impact this series I’ll be happy.
Waited to fully air so I could binge watch, with some regrets. Waiting for each ep to drop would have been torture bc this is absolutely the best performance both Santa and Perth have given to date. I was riveted by the caliber of acting from both of them! They both deserve awards for this series. Binging did mean going through a box and a half of tissues over the course of three days. My eyes and sinuses will need time to recover. Still, every tissue and tear was completely worth it.
Why do I have this weird feeling that Krist was having fun with his role? I know it’s a very weird, creepy and overall disturbing character but it just seems like he enjoyed it. Not a complaint at all, sometimes it’s fun to play the villain. Also how does P’Great pull off awkward adorability so well? I now need to go rewatch the ep of Trend to Golden Figure with him and Sky.
I haven’t watched MRS yet strictly because it’s on WeTV. Once it gets moved to yt I will watch it but I’m…
Same! I’m so happy this is going ahead now and not waiting for Her. This title, along with I Will Always Save You and Billionaire Biker are the top three series I’m excited for the most out of the 2026 lineup.
JuniorMark confirmed that filming for their series begins right after their concert in August. I'm not worried…
I haven’t watched MRS yet strictly because it’s on WeTV. Once it gets moved to yt I will watch it but I’m not surprised. P’New can produce excellent work but only in the romcom genre. If a plot is outside of that genre it tends to fall flat under his direction.
somehow i am bummed because recently whatever they have promised from the 2025 line up (not that we are counting…
I try to take the pilot trailers with a grain of salt because so much can change, especially if the series takes a long time to film. But yes, it does feel like gmmtv is becoming fearful of taking chances with their BL lineup. I can understand because the few times they’ve taken the risk in the past few years, they’ve gotten really negative feedback from the more rabid fans. For example, Melody of Secrets was actually amazingly good! But there were so many complaints about the plot being too slow and confusing.

Looking at Gawin in those glasses gives me Clark Kent vibes. He’s so adorable! Absolutely no shock that Joss is an excellent choice to play a boxer/mma fighter. This series is giving me more comedic vibes though, which I love! MarkOhm has me intrigued though, it will be interesting to see how they fit into this story line.
Tay has a female celebrity friend, and the husband of that his friend is currently accused of being a rapist.…
Meanwhile that actress has a new series also airing this month and, not only are people watching, but there are no negative comments on MDL, unlike this title. Same for several other actors who also liked that same post. The double standard disgusts me.
So we’re getting an OF season 3? After this train wreck I’ll pass thank you. How did a show that kicked off so well become such dross by the end? Especially with the an exceptional cast? Possibly because it devolved into the most basic, cookie cutter, bog standard BL trope driven plot I’ve subjected myself to in a while. Sticking the “Only Friends” label on this season was the biggest lie of the series. I didn’t need bed hopping or smack you in the face NC scenes. What I expected was innovation. Pushing boundaries in terms of plot and character direction. You have a great cast, many of whom really bloomed in their acting, but caged them with a story that belongs with the likes of Love is Like a Cat. Great acting can at least make a terrible story interesting to watch. This was bland, base tripe only made palatable because the cast was truly impressive. Someday I may rewatch the RomeRaffy parts bc it’s AouBoom. But while EarthMix were incredible (especially Mix!) the JackDean part was just not worth it. As for JG, they deserved better. Honestly I lost all interest ArnoldTua when Arnold used emotional manipulation and blackmail to get Tua to forgive him. As for Dean and Tua’s reconciliation, that was such a cheap cop out scene, only made cute by Mix. Seriously I was more interested in the random extra couple in the seats behind them. A friendship supposedly that deep deserved better. And in the end, that really describes this series, The cast deserved a better plot (and so did the audience).
