That's the worst thing you can do in a competition. And still she somehow acts arrogant and victimized as if she has done nothing wrong. I would be hella embarrassed if I was her.
I can't believe how hypocritic the FL is. On one hand she is irrationally justifying her senior's cheating and giving excuses for him saying that he really loves his actual wife and that he is being "forced" to cheat on her by his ex, and at the same time she is judging Dr. Shen for cheating on his wife. So according to her Dr. Shen is despicable for cheating on his wife, but somehow her senior is a "poor little guy forced to cheat"? Can anyone be more hypocritic than her?
This drama is so good, but the FL is making it hard for me to watch. Almost half the drama is finished, but she hasn't gotten any character development whatsoever, very frustrating.
The FL is unbelievably self-righteous and detestable!! I hate her so much. Her holier-than-thou attitude is so disgusting. She thinks what she believes is only right and everyone who has a different view than her is somehow bad. The questions which she asked the ML in the interview were outright cruel, and the ML was strong enough to shut her mouth. But instead of reflecting on her sh*tty personality, she projected her shame onto him and played victim. I felt so bad for the ML when he called himself self-righteous. IMO, it's the FL who is self-righteous, not him. Because if he really was, he wouldn't even have taken that idol's case. Yes, he was cocky, but not self-righteous at all. The victim's parents were also not all innocents; they were indirectly responsible for their daughter's death. If they weren't being too controlling, maybe she wouldn't have died. So, whatever the ML said about them is not wrong at all.
The idol boyfriend is also a POS. He claimed to love her, but so easily stuffed her dead body in a suitcase and threw it away. How can you do that to someone whom you claim to love? I don't trust him completely, maybe he was an accomplice?
Came here after watching Pretty Crazy, and I'm glad I did. This one is sooo good! Love how unique the whole story gets integrated with time travel so smoothly. But I must say, the FL is starting to get annoying now. I'm in ep5, and the FL is acting all self-righteous and not thinking through things; she's just jumping on the bandwagon and misunderstanding the ML. Hope their misunderstanding doesn't drag long, I'm not a fan of angst especially in time travel.
Watched a couple of episodes and I'm not liking the FL's character. Based on what's shown till now, seems like FL was a third wheel in her ex's past relationship, then his ex dumped him, and the FL decided to date him afterwards. That's why she has such inferiority complex surrounding his ex. She says she "worked hard" to gain his love and to substitute his ex, but how can "working hard" substitute for feelings? Even FL's ex felt indebted to her for her help with his company rather than feeling genuine love towards her. It feels like there was no love between her ex and her, just emotional burden and codependency. I feel that even the FL is responsible for their messed-up relationship.
Also, I didn't like the introduction scene They portrayed a simple check-up in a professional setting, as some kind of a se*ual arousal for the FL. In the past I've had to have ECG machines attached to my chest for monitoring my heart rate a few times and there have been instances where that was done by male nurses, and it didn't feel any way the FL felt. It just felt very uncomfortable, and I wanted it to get over as soon as possible. It really felt weird watching that whole scene, especially when they showed her lip curling in a s*xual way with a sneaky cat music in the background.
In the middle of ep18, and I need to vent - This is the first ever episode which felt so draggy since the start of this drama. Like girl seriously? Are you going to create all this drama and indulge in that sob fest?? Isn't it high time now that she gets used to the world she is currently living in? It's understandable if she is living in the real world and has PTSD after accidentally killing someone. But she literally is living in a world where the norm is, "either kill, or get killed". She has seen so many deaths by now that she should've already been desensitized to it. I'm pissed right now watching her sob fest. She went from being a laid back, fun FL to a typical crybaby, pouty FL, and it's really annoying.
And Madam RuLing must be having fun getting blackmailed and threatened by the very guy she supported blindly to take down Sima Jiao. She made up all sorts of accusations on SJ to feel justified in her intentions to kill him, now she saw SQ attacking her beloved sister, I wonder if she came back to her senses. I'm sure b**ch is again going to use this as an excuse to kill SJ and maybe even the FL this time and also feel very justified in her actions.
Honestly, her character and relationship with the FL had so much potential. She has a solid backstory, and good enough reasons to join hands with the leads to take down the Immortal clan. They could've promoted girl power by making her and the FL work together, like few other dramas. But they had to go the traditional route and make her a pawn to the baddies and betray the leads. Pretty disappointed with her character, ngl.

It was evident from the starting that he didn’t want to marry her and wanted to attack her family. But I can’t believe that he would go to that extent and put up a play in front of all the people just to trick her. And after seeing the fl being genuinely moved, shouldn’t he be rethinking about his misconceptions regarding her? He keeps insulting her family and blames them saying that they play tricks, yada yada, then isn’t he doing the same? He shouldn’t be judging them while he himself is acting worse than them.

Ep 2 ending - What's his deal? Was that breaking of the wall and saying no more grudges all a part of his plan to just garner support from people? Why did he smirk when he saw the fl moved by his gesture? And why did he go back on his word and act violently towards her? He looked like a psycho in that scene, ngl.

Ok, so is its tone similar to Love Like the Galaxy? The ml’s family was brutally killed there too, and he too wanted revenge, but the revenge part came very late in that drama. The rest of the drama was not too heavy on revenge. So, I’m asking as I want to figure out the tone of this drama and see if it’s to my liking. Thanks!

She formed a bond with her long back. Secondly, nobody forced her to marry the ml, she chose to do so on her own accord. She made a deal with him, and the deal included being a good mom to his daughter and caring for her. If you have doubts about that, go and rewatch the scene where the ml tells her why he chose her. Even when he first left his daughter with her, he observed her interaction with his daughter, and only after he confirmed that she likes her and cares for her, he decided on her. Most importantly, she made a deal with him to be a mom for his daughter, so she needs to act accordingly, instead of quitting after saying yes.
ep 20: The fact that she chose to weep over her murderous, good-for-nothing stepbrother's death, over responding to a little girl's happiness, is pissing me off! She is wrong. Even if she had grown up in that house in her childhood, she would never be close to her stepbrother, because her stepmom would make sure that they never be close. Also, are her stepbrother and sister, who tried to harm her in every way possible, more important than the ml and the little girl? What's with all this sudden love for stepfamily, especially after what happened to her mom? She is so fickle, it's getting annoying.
