Terrible! terrible in everything it set out to do! it’s certainly one of the worst GLs i’ve ever seen. so bad that even the steamy scenes and the kisses weren’t enjoyable.
Primary and Bambi in their era is insane, the difference in dynamic between them and the others is so well done.…
Prem didn’t like her ex-boyfriend romantically. she may not have had passion for him, but that doesn’t mean she didn’t feel any attraction toward him. and that’s what sexuality is primarily about: sexual attraction. do you need every gl to show a woman loving a man to conclude that she’s bisexual?

What??? in the gl world, they don’t really discuss the sexuality of the characters much, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t bisexual characters. clairebell isn’t the only one; there are others like 23.5 and poisonous love. as for those three gls i mentioned, it’s mostly based on assumption, since no character clearly says “i’m bisexual” or “i’m a lesbian.” girl rules is the first one i’ve watched that actually does that.
honestly it seems she made that bed herself and now she has to lie there, like if you don't have feelings for…
Gorya is dealing with mixed feelings, so there’s no way she can admit anything to shasha. she’s still getting over prim and, on top of that, she doesn’t like the idea of falling for someone who doesn’t make her feel secure about having a serious relationship. in fact, gorya didn’t even want to get involved with shasha because she sees her as extremely arrogant, so she only agreed to go out with her after a lot of persistence. from what has been built so far, gorya is someone who knows what she wants, is confident, and takes both her work and her relationships seriously, so she can’t really be blamed.
Speaking of the performances, i have to congratulate the entire cast, as they’re doing an excellent job. special praise goes to Film and Milk for delivering such convincing performances in roles that are outside their usual range. 👏👏
Okay… the reason bambi broke up with prim didn’t convince me. now i’m even more annoyed at her. if there’s no twist or something bigger happening throughout the series, i’ll be watching all the primbambi scenes like this 🙄
I was rewatching the pilot and realized that the series has the potential to be more than just a cliché high school romance (which wouldn’t be a problem). it could explore themes like identity and friendship. i’d like them to focus on the romance and identity of KO1 and KO2, as well as their friendship with the rest of the cast. i know there’s a secondary ship, but I’d prefer its romantic development to be minimal. i haven’t read the novel and don’t plan to, so i don’t know what comes from the original work and what was created for the series. either way, it’s an adaptation, and not everything needs to be 100% faithful to the novel.

WHAT WAS THAT PART WHERE LADA PUTS EYE DROPS IN APO’S EYE?! I WAS LIKE 😳🤭
The end of the ep was heartbreaking. i’m already suffering before the drama even really starts 😩
