That was my cup of tea :-) with "You are my Glory" biggest enjoyment of this year for me and in such a short time!!…
I also had fun watching you are my glory. Nice sweet drama that doesn't get too complicated and also quite funny. Loved the actors and the characters they played.
i wonder what Kim Seon Ho was thinking when he was holding a new born baby in the drama. :(
Who knows what he was thinking. Maybe he' was thinking I can't wait to have one in the future when I'm mature, responsible, and ready. And my significant other is also mature, responsible, and ready who doesn't air our dirty laundry and write in vivid detail about our bedroom preferences. And my agency won't have hefty fines for having babies.
I really hope he makes a big screen debut afterall. The power that this man holds is admirable ✊❤
Now that you mentioned it, I would love to see Kang Ha Neul and Kim Seon Ho star in a movie together. Along with Jo Jung Suk and Lee Sun Kyun. The actors with theater backgrounds can join forces on the big screen.
For people who say he must be so guilty because he came out to apologize about the scandal and apologized to the ex-gf. Would you rather he came out to argue with his ex and get into a he said she said situation? I'd think even less of him if he did. This is also his personal matter. Does he also want to join his ex and air their dirty laundry for all to see? No, probably not. So what if he'd rather just apologize to everyone instead of going into further details. That doesn't mean everything the ex said is true.
His ex even went to describe in vivid detail about their bedroom preferences. Who in their right mind does that? Isn't that embarrassing just to think about their family, friends, collogues reading it. She didn't write it just to vent. Normal people vent by talking to close family and friends. Vent into a journal. They don't vent online with ridiculously obvious hints at who Actor K is. She could've called him her ex bf or idiot guy or jerk. Instead she calls him Actor K. She's a woman in her 30s and works in the industry. You think she doesn't know what she was doing and purely wrote just to vent?
They are both at fault for what happened but I just don't buy into her being some victim as she claims to be. Especially since she keeps flip flopping her story. And the argument that he didn't love her ever and just used her. Were you there in their relationship? Were you the third wheel on their dates? Were you peering over their shoulders at every conversation? Then how do you know? Well she gave detailed examples. Have you ever had someone you know misunderstand you, misconstrue something you said, or took things the wrong way? You must not live amongst people if you say you haven't. People who are extremely insecure will still feel insecure no matter what their partners say to them. People who lack self love often do not believe others love them. If she feels like she jumped through hoops for him and now he owes her marriage. Just because you bend over backwards for him doesn't mean he owes you that relationship or that marriage. He owes you nothing. You owe him nothing. Have some self respect. If some guy mistreats you, kick him to the curb. It takes two to tango.
This is just my 2 cents on the whole thing. You may think differently. Let's mutually respect each others opinions.
That's kind of disturbing and why would she want to write that so vividly? Imagine their parents and friends reading this. She's honestly a little 'Gone Girl' in my opinion. Scandals come out often and there are plenty of women I support for whistleblowing and bringing to light horrible things done by male celebrities. I believe their stories, I just don't believe hers. Something is just so off about what she did.
This was an average drama executed really well. Kim Seon Ho's acting was good, can't say Same about the FL though.…
This is also how I felt. The drama was a 9 for me up until the last few episodes. There were seriously some cringe moments that I couldn't see as romantic or funny. Especially when she kept accidentally injuring him. As much as I like Shin Mina, the character Yoon Hye Jin never fully won me over. At times I did find her relatable, at other times I liked her for standing up for her friend or being a independent career woman. But then other times she was slightly annoying. I guess she did have great character development towards the end. The big reveal about Doo Shik's past was difficult to watch and he took the blame for something he wasn't at fault. It was kind of ridiculous. SML handled the love triangle well and was amazing towards the end in how wise he was handling the big reveal about Doo Shik. How he didn't join the blame game and simply said it was just unfortunate for all.
I agree. She works in the industry and is a woman in her 30s. She knew what she was doing and she's an adult old enough to make her own decisions. Although I think there is some truth in what she said, I don't fully believe her. She keeps flip flopping on what she says so her credibility diminishes. And their relationship sounded toxic, on both sides, so it may be better they are not together anymore. Now that she aired their dirty laundry to the public, information on her is also being dug up. And now she wants to take it all back? Then don't start if you can't take public scrutiny.
If she needed to vent, maybe talk to a close friend or family member. You don't vent online with obvious hints at who Actor K is and not think about what could happen. I don't know if it's true that she texted him asking who is prettier, her or his female costars. Sounds pretty insecure and spells disaster for an actor that is suddenly rising in popularity. She's not some victim as she claims to be. He's also no good boy. But should he be cancelled because of that?
Part of the Kim Seon Ho package was believing in the image he had portrayed to the public. Trust has been built…
I know what you mean. I thought about it and I would still watch his works if it's a drama or movie I'm interested in watching to begin with. It creates less conflicting feelings since I tend to pick my dramas based on how good they are to me and less about who is starring in it. And dramas even with my favorite actors, if I can't get into it, I can't get into it and I simply drop it. Plus, he's not a one man show. There are other cast members. I get what you mean about his good boy image being tarnished but he is not a criminal who committed serious crimes so I see no reason to completely boycott his works. Regardless of the scandal about his personal life and people's opinions about it, he's still a talented actor.
Why is this rated so high...? wtf! Am a huge 'slice of life' fan and this drama is not too bad but way too overrated?…
Frankly, it was a 9 for me up until the last few episodes. It's a great drama and very enjoyable. It's also a feel good healing drama which tends to rate higher in my opinion. It was just what I wanted to watch at the moment and the drama delivered, for the most part.
Everyone is free to express their opinion however and wherever they want (as long as they don't break community…
I get what you are saying but if we are going to talk about respect, let's also respect the whole cast and all those who put in so much work to create this drama. KSH is part of the cast so it's no surprise some news of his scandal will get talked about here. But some people come here to make no comment about the drama and purely bash those who like or used to like KSH, or just to bash KSH, then aside from being toxic, they should take it up in the KSH comment section.
Girl, going back and forth her statement, please at least stick to your statement. If you did nothing wrong you…
They were both at fault and could have handled things better. They are both in their 30s so there is no excuse and no one is a minor here who didn't know any better. But she choose to air their dirty laundry publicly and then taking back what she said. That greatly reduces her credibility. She wants public support but wants to remain anonymous and can't take public scrutiny. Now her private life is being dug up and she doesn't like it. Well what did she expect?
Goes to show, people take things out of context. They could read everything she wrote and take a few sentence out of the whole thing and then blow it out of proportions. But really, they were both at fault and didn't behave responsibly. They are both in their 30s and should know better. Maybe the timing was unfortunate that his popularity came after they started dating and he got more busy and stressed and she got more insecure. Maybe he could have handled the break up better and she shouldn't be airing their dirty laundry without thinking about the consequences. And sometimes people's plans change. Maybe he really had intended to marry her at the time or maybe he didn't want to sound like a complete jerk talking about abortion and so he also talked about marriage, which ended up making him a real jerk for giving her false hope. But I can understand their relationship causing him stress during the time when his popularity was rising. If not handled well, it will lead to his downfall. And indeed, that is what's happening.
first of all, i want to say that i really like the drama and you should watch it if you want to.now let's get…
I think you are in the wrong side of town. This is for the DRAMA Hometown Cha Cha Cha. If you have no comment on the drama and purely here to put in your 2 pennies on KSH's fans, scroll back up and click on his name. Comment there all you want and your thoughts on "oppar".
I find it interesting that in the beginning of the drama, Hye Jin got into an argument with her boss and then quits her job. Got drunk one night and took matters online and wrote one nasty post about her greedy ex boss. She wanted to take it down but can't remember the password. Then she can't get employed at all anywhere. She thinks it's because her ex boss is spreading false rumors about her. But her ex boss corrects her that the dental community is small and who would want to hire a whistleblower who badmouthed their chief doctor?
And there is Doo Shik, who is a very intelligent character and did his job as a fund manager very well. Then one event ended his whole career. Sure, he was somewhat involved but the man insisted on investing and leveraged too much and invested in something with so much risk. And it wasn't even a fund he recommended. Was that enough to end his whole career?
Now it's happening to KSH and his ex in real life. I guess events in a drama are not too farfetched from real life. I'm not going to comment who is right or wrong. Frankly, I think they are both at fault and didn't behave like responsible adults. They are both in their mid/late thirties so it's not like someone here is a minor. Now she wants to take back what she wrote as she is unable to handle the consequences. If you choose to expose your ex bf and air your dirty laundry in public, don't be surprised if you come under scrutiny as well. If you happen to know this industry well, then you knew what you were doing. And his career might be taking a long break. Perhaps Start-up started up his career and now after Home Cha, he's going home. Maybe for good. Just my thoughts on it, I don't think he had ill intent nor was he gaslighting as she claimed. I think he might have been a coward and didn't have the guts to end things properly and honestly so the relationship dragged on longer than it needed to be. Maybe he didn't want to come off a complete jerk talking about abortion so he also talked about marriage and in doing so, actually ended up being a jerk. Maybe she negotiated to have the abortion if they got married later on. Who knows. Maybe he ultimately couldn't be straight forward that it wasn't working and instead of telling her that decided to ghost her. But we don't know. Maybe that was the case. Maybe not. But is that enough to end his career? It's his personal life and should it end his professional life? Just like that?
Never gonna watch last 2 episodes :v I'm kinda heartbroken since I follow him since chief kim, still hope he truly…
If you find the drama enjoyable, why not finish it? Even if the whole scandal thing is off putting and disappointing, that is their personal life and no one knows the full story. It's not like he is a criminal who committed unspeakable crimes. Plus, he is not the only person in the drama. Think about the whole cast. And they did such a good job.
is it just us, or everyone including nam too Hyuk and whole cast in real knows how much HJP character means a…
HJP/KSH totally winning hearts even when his screen time gets reduced and even if a lot of his scenes are in a freaking parking lot. That's the power of a great character like HJP played by such a talented actor like KSH.
It's tough for SDM. She already lacks brain cells and now she's without spine. I've been watching Search: WWW…
I agree, I just finished it and absolutely love it. It's just the right mix of everything and like you said, really is the whole package. The business aspect was interesting to watch and I like that it explores the work ethic aspect of it as well. The female leads are all so well written and it's really nice to see such portrayal of strong intelligent women in power and fully confident about who they are and what they want. I also really like the male leads as well, the romance was just the right amount, and none of them annoyed me in any way.
And then I come back to watch the train wreck that is Startup and feel so utterly disappointed too. It had so much potential.

The Swoon is fully realizing the power of KSH. Finally! Trying to decide which KSH drama to watch next haha.

I've been watching Search: WWW along with Startup. Bad idea as it just makes Startup even more unbearable.
