Yeah the SST trio are so ridiculous and gets on my nerves. I ended up shouting at my TV screen in the recent episodes. I give credit to the writer. I've watched kdramas for a long time now but rarely have seen so many unlikeable and despicable characters congregate in one kdrama.

I'm so done with the SST trio. They are such immature ungrateful brats. Apparently the US is where it all happens- new experiences, lots of money, new wardrobe and hair. But nothing can save them from their disgusting personalities. And they are now in their 30s? Umm what?

I agree. I actually don't like Dalmi as a character that much but I root for her success due to what happened to her father. Just want to see HJP get a happy ending, whether that's with Dalmi or not. She doesn't deserve him but since the drama created this messy love triangle and he's so emotionally invested, I hope he gets a good outcome from it. As for the revenge plot, I really did not like how the drama carelessly tossed in suicide since it's such a sensitive topic that should be handled with care.

Thanks for sharing. I didn't realize he had passed away and was quite surprised. That's amazing you had the opportunity to work for him for a year. He seemed like a really cool and nice person so it's awesome to have someone confirm that. I've always liked how he ran the company he founded and the way he treated his employees. His idea on how to make sure people were working for him for the right reasons was fantastic. It is such a loss that he has passed away. RIP Tony Hsieh.

No surprise there she's still hung up on Dosan. But I do find this scene interesting because it kind of reminds me of the scene where Dosan left Dalmi in the park to go put on a suit and while running back gets ice cream on the suit and Dalmi was already gone when he got to the park. Here, Dalmi gets coffee splashed on her clothes while running to find Dosan and she mistake the wrong person for Dosan.

Most comments here on MDL are about the characters and the drama. This community for the most part, is quite mature. However, I will comment on some DoDal/Dosan fans. In the less than two weeks that I've been here, I've seen some of them take comments to a personal level, which is absolutely not necessary. I've seen one call someone else a "stupid human". Or the "y'all should feel shame" for critiquing Dosan, a fictional character. Or the wishing/telling HJP fans to go "jump into the Han River".

LOL thanks for sharing. I just watched it. Aww poor NJH, I wonder if he's also been frustrated with the character NDS and he has to play him. I like the bromance between NJH and KSH. I've watched some of their bts and they are so cute together.

My guess would be since Dosan tends to blame others for his problems and he doesn't take responsibility for his own actions, he got more angry at Jipyeong because he blames him for what happened. If Jipyeong didn't offer himself as Option B, then Dosan wouldn't have approached Alex asking him to acquire SST. It was Dosan's own fault but he became more angry with Jipyeong because he was the reason Dosan approached Alex.

NJH is a person, NDS is a FICTIONAL character. What does not liking the character NDS have anything to do with NJH? If you can't distinguish between the two, might be swimming to far into the delusional pool.

I agree. I've been bothered by how the drama keeps normalizing and romanticizing toxic relationships and behaviors for a while now. It sends some seriously troubling messages, especially to the young and impressionable. Hopefully the writer recognizes that.

I would actually compare Alex to Dosan as it seems they are both characters who likes to take advantage of a situation. Dosan was never interested in the offer Alex presented to him. It was because of Jipyeong offering to be option b that Dosan went to Alex. Alex probably knew something was going on as Dosan initially already rejected his offer and then suddenly approached him in such a hurry wanting him to acquire SST and mumbling something about option b. Dosan wanted to take advantage of Alex's interest in him but it backfired because Alex used that to take advantage of Dosan instead.

This would be a great ending! Thanks for explaining what the noodles mean. I was wondering why there's so much of noodle eating with Jipyeong and Dalmi.

Interesting. I heard about Dosan's name meaning "bankruptcy" before but didn't know Jipyeong's name means "horizon". I hope the writer was intentional with this. Thanks for sharing!

I think Dalmi's plant is having more growth in the last 12 episodes than Dalmi herself. Hopefully there is growth for her after the time skip.

Oh yeah, good point! I'd love to see what the plant looks like after 3 years and if it's big enough to put a little birdhouse on one of it's branches.

I'm starting to question if the writer really took 2 years to write this piece of cow poo poo. The best thing in it is Jipyeong and what are they trying to do to him? :(

I'm really hoping the writers won't use this time skip to turn Jipyeong into a petty SL so they can justify Dosan and Dalmi being together. I would rather just drop this drama than to see that.

That seems to make more sense than Dosan or Jipyeong proposing. I'm actually okay with Cheulsan and Saha as a couple. They are much better than Dosan and Dalmi as a couple. This is probably the first drama that I'd rather see the FL pick her nose than pick the ML. WTH writers.

Yeah I agree, it seems like Dosan may have anger management issues, low self-esteem, anxious- preoccupied attachment, impostor syndrome, and I don't know if it's the acting or his character but the way he lies make him look like a sociopathic liar. It's both interesting and disturbing that the writer made this the ML and romanticizing this toxic relationship he has with Dalmi.
