Honestly for me, the movie was a solid 8-9 up until the last part. I LOVED IT.

I had missed the news about Kubota and Mizukawa! I didn't even know they were dating lol

I have to make some time to watch Mr. Hiiragi's Classroom. Been meaning to watch it, and such a high rating just makes me more curious

I'm looking forward to watching the movies, perhaps some of the dramas. I hope MAL considers adding them to their database, since compared to other countries to be added the NK selection is sizeable and should be easier to add (and would be a very interesting addition, I don't think any other drama site has them)

I'm part of the love train here, realism is something I really appreciate in dramas. Plus, this drama made me a fan of Ueno Juri and Eita!

As for Ruka's gender identity disorder, rather than it being about them being gay while I watched it I interpreted more as their having gender dysphoria and possibly being trans? They were definitely in love with Michiru, but there was definitely more than that to their inner turmoil (plus, in the opening Ruka has 'liberation' of all words)

Anyways, that was my interpretation of Ruka's storyline. I realize the drama doesn't develop that part as much

Johnnies making in the list doesn't surprise me lol Funny Furukawa Yuki surpassing all of them, didn't expect that

Have to agree with the reviewer who says all the plot twists are for naught in the end. I still liked the series overall, but those last 2-3 eps really bring down a lot of tension and mystery the drama did so well building up in the previous episodes. Such a shame :(

It doesn't matter if they win an oscars or not because the movie by itself is exceptional. But the recognition would be nice, and winning Best Foreign Film might get more non-movie-buffs to watch it, which would be nice as well

I did discuss this with a few friends. It might be a bit difficult but there is a chance: Roma is nominated for Best Foreign Film and Best Picture, so maybe it'll win Best Picture and leave room for Shoplifters in the Foreign Category (not saying there's no chance it on it winning both categories, but maybe the Academy decides to split it up that way)

Just watched this one yesterday. Such a great film! The first half, while simple and almost a slice-of-life of the family, is full of complexities to catch on to and the latter half is just amazing and thought provoking as someone said before me. Definitely recommend it to anyone who has the chance to see it! I hope it wins Best Foreign Film

Disagree with Ossan's Love since I personally felt the relationship between the two leads to be lackluster and the writing overall to be very meh, but I'll concede that the actors in the series did do a great job

Happy to see Unnatural getting so much love <3 It was def one of my fave dramas, great in pretty much every department. Yonezu Kenshi's Lemon is just such an amazing song, too <3

I'm just seeing this now! Technically, Spanish would not need to be capitalized in general unless it's at the start of a sentence. Language names in general do not require capitalization (both in Portuguese and Spanish)

Really?? Perhaps a different one may work? I know Windscribe vpn has a 'Windflex' feature for viewing American Netflix through a vpn so maybe it depends on what you use?

You can use a vpn to use an ip from a different country and open up Netflix on your pc!

I was surprised too! I was looking into him after hearing the song cause I liked his voice and was so surprised to see he was actually an actor and that he only recently started singing. Guy's got multiple talents, I gotta say haha
