Although I'm a native speaker who tends to stick to the English side of the internet, I'm so glad to see MDL opening a Spanish version! It'll be great for so many people who struggle with English. I'll be sure to help out translating some synopsis when I can <3
He caught my eye recently with his collab with Yonezu Kenshi, Haiiro to Ao, and I was so surprised to see that he was also an actor! More surprised yet to learn that I actually watched something with him (Gintama lol) which obviously did not give me a glimpse of his true potential, so I'll be looking into some of his other works~
Some of the movies he starred in seem totally my style. Looking forward!
This is so true. They had the chance to go deeper and really talk about how they fall in love and manage their…
This. So much!! It honestly felt like they purposely avoided interactions and developments between Maki and Haruta. I mean, having Haruta suddenly have doubts about his feelings for Chizu? Having him be so indecisive over rejecting the Boss? His turning him down so clearly mid-series gave me hope of development but his reverting back to that passive attitude in the end just shot all of that down the drain.
Haruta's serious lack of character development hurt the entire drama's development. It made it seem like he'd stay with anyone who took care of him, so long as they replaced his mom. It also made it extremely difficult to see what Maki saw in him, which I definitely agree I would have liked more development on how he came to love Haruta in the first place.
I was so excited for this drama! The comments had me all hyped too, but I found it was really disappointing. Don't get me wrong the acting's great, the entire cast does a great job, but this drama was seriously lacking in the writing department
hahaha I have very good research skills when it comes to my faves! Glad I could help though :) He doesn't use…
This is waaay late but I was wondering about the name thing. I've seen Matsuo around quite a bit but aoao lists his full name as Itou Kentarou (伊藤 健太郎)??
This was just great from start to finish. Suspenseful and interesting, it explores its characters very well. They were all interesting for the most part and no one was entirely "good" or "bad", so it was especially entertaining to watch them. Been a while since I enjoyed a drama so much
Boku no Ita Jikan and Ghost Writer are both amazing! I've watched a few others of her but those two especially are my favorites. Have to check out her other dramas~
Hahaha, I'm glad everyone has adopted him, he's so fluffy and adorable! I've yet to see Transit Girls but he seems…
Oh, that's to be expected though! All the younger panelists tend to be very quiet and speak mainly when spoken to by the older panelists, my guess is it's related to Japan's age and career hierarchy. I've yet to see the youngest panelist be very vocal or active, the most I saw was Kentarou in Aloha State, which was after he'd been there quite a while and seemed to be more comfortable and open. Kinda sad he had to leave, but it was because of his busy schedule so I can't complain! ;)
His character is very sweet in Transit Girls! I really liked his relationship with one of the main girls there
I first saw him in Transit Girls and then in Good Morning Call and totally adopted him already! His scenes in the flashbacks of It's Not That I Can't Marry were so adorable.
I didn't expect to see him in Terrace House, it was a nice surprise and he was a good addition to the panel, especially in Aloha State where he seemed much more comfortable and spoke more.
I started Ashi Girl and am so sad it's still not done subbing. I've really liked what I've seen from him there, I wanna know the end ;; Guess I'll check out his other stuff in the meantime
Nice, I actually like it more than obsessed. I guess I like subtlety and not much manhandling. Even though there…
I was looking for this comment. I agree! I tried to watch Obsession since people kept saying it was better, but honestly it was a mess and I dropped it. This is much sweeter and the relationship between the two develops in a slower, more subtle way that I really liked
Like someone mentioned before, the series is very confusing. Only watched the 1st episode but a lot of characters are introduced at the same time, plenty of scenes that don't seem to have a purpose, and just a whole lot of unexplained things going on that it doesn't have you intrigued, just bores you.
Glad to hear it eventually gets explained, but I can't say that's enough to convince me to keep going.

The subber posts directly there. Sadly they haven't said anything since they released episode 8 :(
