Yeah that ending was painful. Kaga telling Ayumi to pick Shiro was so awful. Sure, Shiro had to endure those times…
I'm guessing it's to show how good Kaga is. He went through all of that for Ayumi, but he's still willing to let her go to be with the guy she had loved for so long. It just shows how much he loved her. He just wanted her to be happy. Looking at it that way makes it seem better, but they should've made Ayumi refuse and choose Kaga instead.
the ending was so shit... how u have a good series and then u just mess up the end like what the FUCK was that.…
Yeah that ending was painful. Kaga telling Ayumi to pick Shiro was so awful. Sure, Shiro had to endure those times when he had to pretend to be the villain and have Kaga and Ayumi hate him just so that Zenko would trust him, but Kaga was there for Ayumi and he loved her regardless of her looks. If anything he loved her more once she was less pretty. That ending SUCKED
Found this through Kim Dong-Hee's page, from when he was incorrectly listed for this film. Even though he isn't in it, I'll still watch it when it comes out because it sounds interesting
I'm excited to see Yang Kyung-Won, even if he's just a support role. His character, Pyo Chi-Su was my favourite in CLOY, so I'm looking forward to seeing more of his acting
I love the webtoon, but how can they make a drama out of it right now? It's a great story, but is there really enough story for an actual drama? Sure, a lot has happened, but there hasn't been a heavy plot like in a drama. I wonder how far into the stpry they'll go? Will it reach the most recent chapters, or will they have chosen a cut-off point?
I'm really excited to see how this turns out. The cast seem really suited to the characters in the photos.... oooh I can't wait!
I really liked this drama when I watched it a year ago, but I wish that the two alien characters from the start, who gave Cha Min the abyss, had returned later on in the series. They kinda just said "yo have this glowing ball thing lol bye", and left. I wish they had shown up layer, maybe in the finale when Cha Min was dead. They could've helped him out somehow...idk.
I just found it odd that they would give us these two cool alien characters, one of which can transform into a dog, and then never bring them back into the series after episode 1. It seemed like a random, lazy plot point that was quickly written because the writers couldn't come up with a reason for Cha Min to get the abyss.
I still adore this series, but this is the one thing that I wish had been different.
Very odd throughout and not really worth the watch. I’d recommend ‘Daytime Shooting Star’ (both the movie and the manga) if you’re looking for a better teacher/student story
While this show had so many flaws, I still got so attached to it and now I’m sad that it’s over. The best part overall was definitely Woo Do-Hwan’s acting abilities. He played both Jo Yeong and Jo Eun-Seop so well, that my brain found it so hard to see that it was the same actor. He definitely made this drama way way better, and I probably wouldn’t have enjoyed it as much, had he not been in it. Not the greatest drama on earth, but I really enjoyed it. The story could’ve been better. I think the concept was great, but the execution...ehh not so much. The ending was relatively ok, and it was a nice ending to an alright story.
Nooo I got so excited for an episode today, I just got comfy and went to play the episode, but there’s only one episode this week, that comes out tomorrow. Ahhh I should really pay more attention to schedules, instead of assuming stuff will come out the same time each week
JO YEONG IS OKAY!!!! I was scared that he was actually going to die in this episode, after the preview yesterday, but I completely forgot that bulletproof vests were a thing.
Didn’t expect head court lady Noh to be from the Republic of Korea... hmm I wonder how she made it to Corea. She travelled in the 1950’s, 40 years before Lee Lim stole part of the flute.... so who had it before him? Maybe the king from back then used to travel between the worlds, like Lee Gon.
That clip from Episode 13, at the end of episode 12, showing Luna kissing Shin-Jae.... I’m sure that’s gonna stir up some trouble. I hope Shin-Jae doesn’t think Tae-Eul has actually fallen for him :(( I like Shin-Jae, I think he’s got an interesting backstory, so I hope he doesn’t get hurt by all this.
I’m so glad they’ve toned down the product placements a bit. It was starting to get a bit ridiculous. I don’t mind if a character is drinking a branded coffee or eating in a restaurant, but when they dedicate scenes and lines to talking about a product, as though this was a tv advertisement and not a tv show, that stuff starts to get annoying. I can laugh at some of the ones for how blatant they are, but it gets tiring after a while.
That clip at the end of episode 11, showing Jo Yeong getting shot next episode has made me sad. Please please let him survive. He’s such a important character, he shouldn’t die so soon, 4 episodes before the finale!! He can’t die! He’s the main reason I like this drama so much. I love Eun-Seop too, but Yeong is extra special.
Episode 11 was great though. I’m curious about the yo-yo kid, and what Luna’s going to do now that Tae-Eul is with Lee Gon, and safe from danger. Will Luna go and take Tae-Eul’s place in Korea while Tae-Eul is in Corea? Ooooh I’m looking forward to these next few episodes, although I am a bit sad that we’re nearing the end of this story.
Just finished episode 10 and I’m at a stage where I’m mostly just watching for Jo Yeong, Eun-Seop and Shin-Jae. The writing of the main leads romance has been a bit mehh but I do like the story overall. The clip from episode 11 at he end of episode 10 has me scared for what’s gonna happen next week. Tae-Eul was covered in blood and was racing to the palace. My theory is that Lee Rim got to her and maybe Shin-Jae or Yeong or Eun-Seop was there too and got hurt?
I’m just glad that episode would didn’t have as much annoying product placement in it as the previous episodes did. Sometimes I can laugh at the blatant adverts thrown into scenes but after a while it starts to ruin my immersion.

*Eun-Seop gets shot*
Me: NO! JO YEONG!!
Me:*remembers that they’ve swapped places*
Me: Phew
Me:
Me: NO! EUN-SEOP!!
(I’m so glad that bulletproof vests exist)
