We've not had any new stuff from him in quite a while, but he started filming "Ghost" at the start of the year so hopefully we'll see him on screen sometime soon...
Something people should understand in relation to celebrities who have committed crimes and done horrible things:
You're still allowed to like them, you're allowed to be a fan. You can still enjoy their music and watch thei dramas. It's not like it's illegal to like someone who has done horrible things. It's your life, like whoever you want, no one really cares. Even if they did nasty stuff, it's really up to you what your morals are.
But please, do not proclaim their innocence, especially when they have actually CONFESSED. That's crossing the line. When someone has VICTIMS and has hurt people with their actions, don't invalidate those peoples' experiences by claiming that the celebrity was "forced to confess" or that they've been framed in a scandal. No, this man has actually committed a crime that has hurt people. Instead of speculating that he's truly innocent or whatever, just accept that he has done bad things and move on.
Either continue being a fan because you don't mind what he's done (it's up to you to decide how you feel about this sorta shit) or cut his content out of your life because you are put off him by his actions. Do whatever you want, but don't go claiming he's innocent when he has genuinely committed a real crime and hurt people.
It is definitely a character driven story only. There is no action here. The main events happen in the last few…
ahh that makes sense now. I always wondered if there was some hidden plot that people liked that i just couldn't see lol. Personally i prefer dramas with lots of plot and events, within which the characters can develop themselves and their relationships, rather than a story of just the characters themselves. When i watched this draama, i tended to pick dramas based on their popularity rather than my personal preferences, like i do now.
I just finished watching this drama and I don’t understand the ending? someone please explain it to me
ok i watched this back in 2019 so my memory might be a bit rusty but this ending has always annoyed me, so hopefully i remember it well.
So, Black, the grim reaper (who is also Joon) chooses to have never ever existed, meaning that the entire story of the show never actually happened. Instead, Ha-Ram lives her life without him. She grows old and dies and yet, YET, somehow Black is there???? And she somehow knows who he is?? Also, i dont think she ever learnt that Black was actually Joon, (unless i've just forgotten)
This ending made zero sense, so i cant even explain it very well. It's a terrible ending. I love this drama, and i might rewatch it sometime soon, but the ending really ruined it.
Other people in the comment section bringing actual questions or remarks. Meanwhile here I am wondering why it's…
(firstly, apologies for replying to a year old comment)
The reason it's called "Two Cops" is because the FL had Cha Dong-Tak's phone number in her phone under the name "Two Cops" because to her, he seemed to have two separate personalities. She was unaware that Gong Su-Chang was possessing him, so she just assumed he had some weird double-sided personality. Also, i guess the name "Two Cops" works because both of them were working as cops and trying to solve the mytery, even if they weren't both cops.
This is genuinely my all-time favourite drama. Before watching it, i would've said that Crash Landing On You was probably my favourite, but THIS, THIS drama, is an ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE. So many interesting characters, i loved the main group of Je-Hyeok's cellmates even when people came and went. If you're a fan of bromance sorta stuff, and good friend groups in dramas in general, then you will love this drama.(For example, if you liked the group of soldiers in CLOY).
Seriously, just watch it. I wasn't interested in it based off the description, but i watched it anyway and LOVED it so much it is my all-time favourite now.
it's all well and good having unique characters n stuff but if there's literally no plot even when you're halfway through, it's not worth watching for me.
So many people love this drama, i wish i could've gotten the same amount of enjoyment out of this as they did. The plot and the setting were just... non-existent? Does anything actually HAPPEN in this drama or is it solely about the interactions between the characters? Are there any actual events?
So overrated. It was really hard for me to end this.
yeah i agree. Personally, i found it very boring; felt like there was nothing happenining. Could only make it through 8 episodes before giving up. If a show doesn't get good when i'm halfway through, then i'm not gonna waste any more time on it lol.
i wish i could be one of those people who loves this show.... i have no idea what people saw in it that made it so popular. It was just so dullllllll literally nothing happened.
It's a bit boring, compared to the Korean version, "My Little Bride".
My Little Bride had more comedy and fun moments that made it worth watching, and the 'relationship' between the main pair was much nicer and interesting. In My Little Bride they were childhood family friends, but in this film they feel like complete strangers, so their relationship just seems dull.
If you're considering watching this, just watch "My Little Bride", it's ten times better and more fun. This one is a bit boringggg
Before watching, the synopsis may sound a bit weird or gross (especially if you aren't the type who enjoys age-gap or teacher/student romances).
But when you actually watch it, it's just a fun comedy film. Nothing really creepy about it. While in reality this would be a very creepy situation, the film handles it well and makes it an entertaining fiction story.
So, if you feel put off by the kinda creepy concept, just know that this film is more of a light-earted fun comedy, rather than an age-gap romance. There's actually very little romance in it. It's a really fun film, that's about it
I've seen so many people say how disappointed they are with Looney's ending, but something we have to keep in mind is that, in reality, it's probably the most realistic ending for someone like him.
Just because a drug addict decides to change and better themself, doesn't mean it will work. That's the sad truth in Looney's story. Prison life won't always end with a happy release.
Usually i have no problem with films being unrealistic, but one thing really annoyed me:
When they attacked and "killed" the serial killer in the restaurant, he really should've stayed dead, like, they hit him enough times to crack open his skull and turn his brains into mincemeat.
A decent film, if you're into these sorta films. An interesting premise, and some decent characters.
If you're watching just for Kyung-Ho, it mighn't be the film for you, as he doesn't speak much, but if you're just here for a decent serial killer thriller, then you'll probably enjoy it.
My favourite actor.. he made so much fantastic progress in such a short amount of time. I first saw him in A-Teen and loved seeing him progress through Sky Castle and Itaewon Class until he finally got his first lead role in Extracurricular, and he did so so well. It's a shame he hasn't been in any dramas in over a year, but hopefully the films he'll be acting in will be out soon. I'd love to see him in another Netflix drama.
Seriously though, if you haven't watched Extracurricular, please watch it, he did such a brilliant job. His cute and innocent appearance really helped him when portraying Ji-Soo as a normal kid just trying to make money. Agh his acting was great and i can't wait to see what the future holds.
watched it when it came out in 2016 and i continue to rewatch it over and over each year, desite it not even being all that good lol.
i've always loved the camera quality in it.. there's like this kinda dreamy blur from the camera in this drama, that i've never really noticed in other dramas. I can't really explain it too well, but when you watch it you might get what i mean.
Does anyone know any other jdramas with this hazy dreamy blur effect like in this one? I find it so soothing and it gives me nostalgia n stuff.
woah this is actually really interesting. i've only started to dip my toes into C-dramas and while i found the dubbing a bit strange, i got used to it. I didn't actually realise that they use different people to dub over.. i just assumed that the same actors dubbed over it afterwards just to improve the sound quality. Although i remember hearing one character speak for the first time and thinking "there is absolutely no way that the voice i am hearing belongs to that person".

Thanks for explaining that.

hoping he gets some good acting offers once he's discharged.
