I guess the jewelry club families were the richest in the land, and probably as unscrupulous as the Cui, Huan and Zheng masters. Zheng Si fixated on Lady Huan, so she couldnt say no. He seems a needy, clingy, manipulative man. Writer killed off the nice people.
