Every character (... main and key supporting) had character growth. Even Baek had a stretch of character despite his inevitable downfall.

Episode 12 was very tense and nerve-wracking . I was literally on the edge of my seat, watching the final competition. Kudos for Hwang Seok Ho and Park Jae Yeong for their investigative skills. in the end, Min Gu took down Baek, but he is in a worse predicament for instigating Major Im's death. Excellent drama of the year! I hope it is remembered at Awards time. It might win Seoul Drama Award for Best Drama. Overall, the casting was perfect, even the few annoying characters. Glad to see the veteran actors stepping outside the box, and showing their comedic skills, and dressing in costume... and not the typical Korean costume drama costume.

I am now hoping for Season 2 while the memory is fresh. I hope to see Chef Lee Ho Yeong sit down, and eat a Kang Seong Jae meal, and have a hallucination. I can see them becoming friends in the future. Migak Bros is my favorite KPOP group now, and Taste my Flavor, my most favorite KPOP song.
