Ning started out strongwilled and authoritative, which added to his charm. He has turned into lovesick and needy... the equivalent of a female lead. I don't like this change in character.

Marquis Li Tong Guang is another Delulu. Has he been understudying Liu Cheng Feng (Wonderland of Love)? He is clingy and delusional. I find him immature and irritating. I applauded twice when Ru Yi slapped him hard (original scene and flashback). That was LI's best scene.

Under normal circumstance, the episode would be 40 minutes of content and five minutes of credits. If they continue with 55 minutes of content, that is 15 x 40 or 600 extra minutes.

I hope they do a flashback story. They seem very close, even though Ning said he had not seen her in many years.

He had that momentary Delulu Liu glazed look in his first or second episode. 🤣🤣🤣 I thought, "OMG..,Not him, too!" 😆😆😆

He's the second power-hungry prime minister in the last two months. WoL's PM was trying to take over the kingdom. I wasn't paying attention to this PM's rantings, but he looks ready to overthrow the next emperor who isn't even born yet. 😒🙄

I thought that Prince Li and Ning resemble each other. I love their friendship. Ning is like Princess' older brother. I wonder how they became so close when she was growing up.

What were the soldiers searching? Streets and alleys? They did not seem to search buildings, so they would never find the Jieshou hideout. It was a big coincidence that Li Ni was in the street where Liu would fall out of the window .

Overall a good drama despite the cringy villains, redundant flashback filler, impromptu singing, extraneous plotting by the delulu Liu Cheng Feng and Miss Gu, Prince #1 and Prince #2, drama inertia in the palace. The most appealing villain was Sun Jing, but the writer eliminated him halfway in the drama plot. The other villains just seemed to stare blankly as they spoke their dialog. The OST was nice, but they would start singing in the wrong places. Xu Kai and Jing Tian were one of the best pairings for main leads.

Final rating 8.5, with deductions for cringy villains, redundant flashback filler, impromptu singing, drama inertia in the palace.

Sun Jing was more interesting than Delulu Liu Cheng Feng, First Prince, Second Prince, Emperor, and Miss Gu.

Crown Princess and Sun Jing loved each other when they were younger. He went somewhere, and she married the Crown Prince. She still loves him to the end.
