I think Ex-Crown Princess is trying to protect Li Ni from Sun Jiang because Li Ni is the only one who can protect her son, who should be the unoffical Emperor, since Grandpa Emperor and Father Crown Prince are dead. Someone commented that the boy was not offical Crown Prince, but does that matter? It looked like 98% of the Li family tree were annihilated by Sun Jiang, and only Li Ni and Little Prince might remain.

Episode 6: Li Ni was too funny. "I will tell you in a while." Then proceeds to tell the dead fool his real identity. The writer was superb, Li Ni was superb.
I am scared that Yingzhi's mother will find the millions of dollars under the bed, and give it to the evil gangster MIL. She disagreed with daughter selling the house, and kicking the MIL and FIL to the curb. This is what can happen when you don't communicate honestly and truthfully with the mother and father. A child/teenager might lie to the parents, but once they become an adult, they have to start acting like an adult.
