They both have small short faces. Looks good, somehow matching together.
The could play siblings in a drama. I thought that their heads were small. Xu Kai has light brown eyes... did you notice in the closeup at the Yue bathhouse?
That sounds like a good sign. Author and Scriptwriter are on the same page, since "they" are one and the same. LOL The novel plot may be the same as the drama plot, as well.
I have one doubt. Does this drama really have 22 actors as a cast , On MDL dont showing it here ?
Dramawiki only has 18 actors listed in the drama, which is surprising for the scope of the drama. It looks like an expensive drama, but I could be wrong. I watched episode 1. I love the fabrics used in the costumes.
I am irritated to see her lying to her father, who is law professor of a university, and he can give her legal advice. It makes her look superficial and manipulative, and that she thinks she knows more about the law, than he does. She should also be talking to her old teacher, Miss Mei about her problem.
I miss the housekeeper. Did the writer write her out of the script?
Luo Yingzhi does not respect her learned father or mother. She lies to them, when the father can actually give her legal or even criminal advice. He's a law professor. He's not a cook or garbage collector. The mother was also a teacher, so she has some sense in her.
Why is there always a lack of communication between parents and children in these C-dramas? Don't the parents teach their children values, ethics, integrity, truth? I don't understand how she can bold-face lie to them about the evil in-laws; mother and son. The father-in-law is weak. I am tired of FL's lies.
I think MIL forged the signature on the real estate document.
I bingewatched the first six episodes, and find the pacing slow. The acting by the FL seems forced. I liked her in Longest Day in Changan. The two intern lawyers don't talk with conviction. They need to be bolder and louder in their chosen profession. Their boss is a creep. I hope the FL Luo and Ms Qiu jump ship, and go work for Mr Chen's law firm. The characters are cookie cutter and very predictable. I will keep going with the drama in the meantime. Wang Yang's acting seems the same as his previous drama.
He finally styled his hair in episode 40. He was still acting like a jerk toward Shen Mi. I think Grandpa told him to behave himself going forward, since he was giving the company to them to run.
Privileged, self-absorbed, selfish, narcissistic? 🤣🤣🤣 That fool, Dr Gu, was living in a delulu world,…
🤣🤣🤣 Next to where Real Shen Mi's ashes and his ukelele are buried, btw.
I figured out that Gu has accumulated the money to build their house because he only ate bento and ramen. He's a cheapskate date. He often bought ramen, bento, and coffee for Mengnan.
Wow’s I don’t have enough words to describe that bi…h!!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮.…

I was hoping to watch episode 40, but the dramacool version has the worst subs that don't even match the dialog. So frustrating!
Uncle must have cracked his knees when he fell to the ground. I don't know what is going on, but it reminds me of my Chinese family gatherings when there was usually some disagreement about money, or whatever.
