Too much emphasis on the Country M terrorists! There was more activity and action in these scenes than in the entire Shanghai(... ?) setting. Director thought he was making an action movie.

While I was watching Cheng Yi, I was thinking Yunchen has nine lives, like a cat.

The director and scriptwriters graduated from the School of Filler and Flashback. They never learnt Time Management. I wonder if they ever read a complete book, and dissected it, to write a drama.

The director did not flowchart the story, otherwise, he would have cut out the extraneous filler, and add some relevant scenes at the end. The Country M terrorists didn't need to resurface. Dr Ji would still be alive. The production team spent more time listening to the OST.

I watched the final four episodes on dramacool on October 12th. They dropped the episodes together. Also on myasiantv!

I think your Mom needs to sit down, and start watching C-drama melodramas. She might recognize herself. Who knows?

My friend's older sister and the Mom had an adversial relationship for years. Mom came from China, btw. They lived together, and the daughter took care of the house and the Mom. Now the Mom has Alzheimers, and lives in a nursing home, and the sister was kicked out of the house that she lived in for forty years, by the older brother and youngest sister. The sister is a treated as a pariah by the siblings. C-drama hasn't written that melodrama yet.

LOL I really felt like I was watching a Kdrama with the intense music and the plot. Thanks for the explanation. I only watched Kdramas for eleven consecutive years, before picking up Cdramas.

Both Jiang and Xizhou think they can rip people to shreds, and feel no remorse. I have worked with people like that, btw. They have behavioral problems.

LOL ROFL OMG I am rewatching the scene. I thought it was the Madam, and I was surprised she was calling Zhu Jiu. So Madam and Zhu Jiu did not reconcile on screen? I think I got confused because of XiZhou and RuanRuan's happily married couple scene.

Xu Chong could play Vengo Gao's brother in a drama. They have a resemblance.

Since she lost the ability to be a surgeon, she should have gone back to school, and get a PhD, and be a medical researcher and a general practitioner. I am not sure why they called her Miss Zhu. She should still a doctor.

During the five years time jump, the writer fell asleep, went on vacation, didn't show up for work. He should have recapped what happened if they didn't want to film any scenes. XD ROFL

II suspect if Xizhou had tried to kill Yushen, he would still have the happy ending with Ruanruan and babies. The writer favored the couple, as well as Madam Jiang.

He was Mama's Boy. He had to run home to see her. If he wanted to talk to Mother, he could have told her to come to the hospital. I have never seen patients recover so quickly after a major surgery.

I could swear he was injured more than six times. I didn't bother to keep score, expecting him to be back in the hospital soon.

Madam was the real estate agent for the house. She did have some redeemable moments. Calling Zhu Jiu after the house was sold, might have been it. LOL

Every time the female singer was singing, "I love you, I love you, I love you", which was in 70% of the episodes, I kept wondering why Liu Yu Ning was not singing a song. instead of her. I could swear that I have heard those song lyrics in a Kdrama previously. Some of the songs and BGM sounded just like a Kdrama OST, tbh.

😁😁😁 Some British actors are good with accents, but I don’t know about American actors. Thanks for the feedback. I saw the movie in the theater because Andy Lau was in it. The American producer shortchanged him, He should have received high billing.
