He finally styled his hair in episode 40. He was still acting like a jerk toward Shen Mi. I think Grandpa told him to behave himself going forward, since he was giving the company to them to run.

I thought he was going to start singing at the wedding. 😅😅😅

I figured out that Gu has accumulated the money to build their house because he only ate bento and ramen. He's a cheapskate date. He often bought ramen, bento, and coffee for Mengnan.

I was hoping to watch episode 40, but the dramacool version has the worst subs that don't even match the dialog. So frustrating!

Uncle must have cracked his knees when he fell to the ground. I don't know what is going on, but it reminds me of my Chinese family gatherings when there was usually some disagreement about money, or whatever.

I agree about Tao. He is the most enigmatic ex-Exo member, and my most favorite. In many of his dramas, he looks like he is about to perform on stage. If he can leave his Idol persona at the door when he enters a drama, he might amaze himself and everyone watching him with his acting ability.

The writer turned the vets into detectives to fill up the drama. I don't remember what Ace Ventura Pet Detective was about, but the writer must have been inspired by the movie title. Half the subplots should have been rejected or compressed for time.

I hope this trend does not catch on in China. The wedding dress and accessories, and the wedding hall and banquet are a big expense. Plus the guests giving cash gifts to the couple. Imagine collecting thousands of dollars in cash or check gifts, to witness the bride or groom cancel the wedding. That wedding theatrics was OTP. LOL I was expecting Tao to start singing.

Mengnan is delusional. Now, she is in Thailand, helping Dr Gu build their love house, which is near Shen Mi's memorial stone, btw. Dr Gu is a chump. I think that is the most ludicrous part of the whole drama plot.

I am up to episode 37. I cannot comprehend by Han Mengnan is hellbent on marrying Shen Mi, when she knows he is an imposter. She has been in love with Little (Real) Shen Mi, so she should not be in love with Fake Shen Mi. She should leave Fake Shen Mi alone. After all this nonsense, if she goes to Dr Gu, she will turn him into a damned fool.

This drama was already promising at 24 episodes, but it should have been 16 episodes. Repetitive flashbacks were extraneous. I don't think we needed to be reminded of these scenes, The ghost town where it was staged was either a deserted war-torn or flooded town, or some ugly CGI. The bats vanished fast in the early episodes, and the zombies must have gone to sleep. I am surprised that the stranded travelers did not explore the town for supplies or better accommodations. They just stayed in the hotel, run down in some places. The store where Er found the sneakers had clothing hanging in the shop, although they should have rot in twenty years. Was the train track sealed off on both ends, or where they just lazy, to try to escape from the bats and zombies who took a snoozefest? The blue ocean, which I am sure was CGI, was the prettiest view. The production quality was bad in many episodes. Extreme closeups with a bland expression do not constitute acting skills.

After bingewatching the first 16 episodes in the last three days (in October 2023), I skipped to the final episode. The timid teacher was the the mastermind. LOL I don't think I missed anything important. This was my Halloween entertainment.

Writer used to watch K-dramas, and was inspired to write that scenario. Han Meng Yao needs to check into the Asylum for the Delusional Rich People.

A lot of filler; pet convention, Alzheimers Lady with Fake Dog or Cat, Pregnant Lady and Runaway Son with Cat, Hoomans's Casual Beauty Day, Han Meng Yao and Dr Gu boatride, Shen Chen, Meng Yao, Pre-Dementia Lady and Pug. The only case I liked, was the Homeless Man and his German Shepherd. I don’t know why they killed off the dog. I hope they don’t kill off Carlo.

The last Tao drama, I dropped after episode 20, and the one before that, at episode 10. Yet I have stuck with this drama. The hair is distracting. I did see one scene where his hair looked very nice. Another scene, the hair looked like an umbrella. I wish they had spent money on the FL's wardrobe.

I wonder what Shen Chen will do in episode 33. You don't know if he is a backstabbing traitor, or if he has a conscience. I hope to see his father's jaw drop to to the ground if Shen Chen supports the Tianlin team.

Han Meng Yao is sneaky. Where did she find Shen Mi's DNA sample? She should be testing his DNA and the mother's DNA.

Grandpa and Shen Mi resemble each other, unlike Grandpa and Son Shen Hong Yuan, it would have been nice if Shen Mi was Grandpa's long lost grandson, from another son. ☺

She has an amazing recall. When I was her age, I didn't remember two decades prior. 😏😏😏

Those pawrents who wanted to dye their dog's hair are disgusting. I have seen a few photos of dogs whose hair was dyed multicolors on Instagram in the last few years. The Hoomans have too much time on their hands.

Was Mr Han hoping for years that Shen Mi would marry Han Meng Yao? I think Mr Han works for Luchuan Company. If his son-in-law became Chairman, his status would be elevated.

Shen Chen told Tian Yu Xia that he wanted to marry Tian Tian. He's not interested in marrying her. He has something else in mind. At least, he quit his job. 👌👍👏👏👏
