I had the same thought about Mrs Wu.

They are my favorite drama couple.

We are at the midpoint. Revenge and retribution will not be happening until toward the end.

The backstories should have been presented in the past timeline. Are they going to add Wu Lian's POV and Madame Ning's POV as well?

LOL I couldn't figure out the calendar for years, so I stopped looking at it. I just started looking at the calendar a week ago. Whoever is designing the calendars must be in art design. It is not really cut and dry.like a typical calendar.

Watching episode 12. They keep adding timelines within the timelines. As soon as one's POV is completed, they backtrack to another character's POV. It is going to feel like the old timeline is endless. I dropped the rating from 8.5 to 8.0.

I can understand introspection by the main characters, but this plot is adding introspection by supporting characters. At the rate of pace, if they were to add all the supporting characters' POVs, the plot would never end.

The timeline juggling is distracting.

12 tomorrow, and 13 the following day! This episode pattern makes no sense. Next week, two episodes on three days only!

I think there was no singing in the middle of the episodes, as of episode 10, although the BGM could be toned down while the characters are talking. Temporary rating 8.5; deductions for time juggling and invasive BGM, and point given for minimal singing.

Very good show, but it gets confusing when they juggle the two timelines. The actors look basically the same, seven years prior or later.
