I hope Yu Qian Qian does not have ideas about stealing Yan Zheng from Fan Chang Yu. I thought that was a cheap writer's idea having YZ pretend to be YQQ's husband, to fool Qi Min. Qi Min is a psycho stalker. I can't see him getting redemption.

He was not the SML in Wanted Detective, but he was called Peacock in the drama because of his color choice and style of costume.

I binge watched Maid last night, and finished the last few episodes an hour ago. It is consolidated into seven episodes on the Drama Box English YouTube channel, fyi.

I binge watched the Maid with Deng Kai overnight. I found it interesting that his Prince Regent character and the FL had a similar one night stand like Qi Min and Yu Qian Qian, and it produced a child.

I am scrapping my comment about Chang Yu's father training Yan Zheng. Yan is nineteen, so he was three years old, if and when he met Changyu's father. There was a flashback of a young boy training to fight. Who was the adult Master?

It seemed to me that Chang Yu's father had trained Yan Zheng when he was a boy. YZ recognized the fighting skill, watching Chang Yu fight the four neighborhood bullies.

I know we have seen only one-third of the drama, but the performances by all departments (in front of the camera and behind the camera) are high quality, so far. The few things that I don't like are the poor pigs being slaughtered, and the obnoxious human pigs, Mr Guo, Madame Kang, Song Yan and Mother.

I think there was a drama last year where a HE was expected, per the book ending, and the writers took it into the other direction.

I didn't realize that Gongsun Yin had turned in the Princess to the palace. Did he know her royal identity all along? Did he decide to send her away after their conversation about playing GO? He realized that she was in love with him, and a marriage alliance was highly improbable. I wondered why he gave the bracelet to the monk. Did Nanny bring the outfit and jewels for her to change into?

The writers really wanted to torture Qi Min mercilessly. He and Qian Qian would have made a nice couple, visually.
