Thanks for the hint about Zhou Ye. I was thinking that he is the only one who deserves to become the next emperor. A well deserved promotion! They will have to kill off Crown Prince Fan before Old Emperor dies. It looks like TB.

That Princess needs to have her fingers crushed. I find her the most offensive character. She and Grand Tutor make a great couple, with Old Empress as the evil MIL. I hate the court palace arcs in these dramas. It starts to drag, and the backstabbing, corruption and betrayal are predictable. They need to get it over with, and move on.

The Shen Ming role is much broader. I am proud of his promotion from Bandit to Court Official. The upgrade in wardrobe, title and salary make a big difference.

The actor's role in Blood of Youth was just a shadow, whose skills were undervalued. He didn't have much dialog or scenes either.

After episode 32 ended, I wanted to watch the next episode immediately. The plot picked up in the last two episodes. Emperor said that CP Fan should travel to Youzhou alone. Does that mean CP Fan will run into assassins, and die on the way? Woo-Hoo!

I think it started in Youzhou when General Fan (...not yet the emperor) promoted Jiusi to Magistrate. I guess he always thought he was better than Jiusi because Jiusi was a merchant's son. I missed the part how they knew each other.

Great idea! How did he get the job of Grand Tutor? Prince is turning into a snake.

Empress Dowager looks 70. I thought she was the grandmother, at first glance. Why doesn't the new Emperor marry Yunshang off to another kingdom, to relocate her? He is the one in charge. Empress Dowager should have gone to the nunnery when the former emperor died.

If Yin Yin did not show up, would he have bowed to Fairy, and run away? How was he planning to explain the wedding ceremony to Yin Yin?

He was really naive, and just a talker. I can't believe he would reneg on his promises to Yin Yin, or even the mother. He was even confused why Yin Feng was pissed and wanted to kill him.

BTW, doesn't the mother look ten years' older than Ruo Chen or Yin Yin?

I discovered today that Youn Yuh Jung and Lee Seo Jin were mother and son in Wonderful Days (2014). I watched that drama back in 2014. The bond between Youn and Lee is undeniable and perpetual. He even escorted her to the 2022 Academy Awards show.

Ding Ning was the best boss. He even smiled when he faced his enemy, Mr Cheng (Zheng), whom I wanted to hit in the head with his teapot.
