I am on ep 4. The interlude piano music and scene intercuts scenes diminish the integrity of the episodes, and detract from the scene. Two deductions! The reporter/influencer and her father professor are the most boring characters. Poor man retires, and is swallowed up by the nefarious Huiquan Corporation. The two million dollars salary will do him in. Han Dong is trying to look like he is 30 years' old again.

My apologies to all! Min Woo Hyuk's age is 39, so Roy Kim could be closer in age to Doctor Cha. Originally, I was guessing his age to be in his mid 30s.

Was it odd that Kim did not research how to search for your birth family? That was one of his reasons to return to Korea. He also spoke excellent Korean since he grew up in a non-Korean U.S. household. One of the options was registering the DNA with the police station. He was the liver specialist at the other hospital, so he might have been in the country for a while. He seemed surprised when Dr Cha told him about the police station. He didn't do it until she reminded him again.

You are right. Before I started Doctor Cha, I thought that Kim Byung Chul was the star of the show. I had no idea of the plot until I started watching it. I know Uhm Jung Hwa, and realized that she was Dr Cha. The director and writer focused on Seo InHo. His stupid comical antics made me cringe.

I found the final episode to drag. Some of it was filler. I knew the time jump was coming.

The writer did not develop the Roy Kim character. He just showed up at random, and said some dialog. As a main character, he should have had a storyline. The director ignored him as well. Too much focus on the narcissistic nutcase, Seo Inho.

I dropped it from 8 to 7. The dialog was silly. "Don't tell Mom." "Does Mom know?" Etc.! The drunk episodes, Seo falling down constantly. His extreme comic behavior contradicted with his professional career.

Jung Min would be a prodigy to be a doctor at 19. He didn't seem to be smart on the job, at the beginning of the drama.
