The beginning was promising but it became absurd and nonsensical the more it moved forward. I wish they toned…
The funniest line was when one of the workers went up to Ms Ding and said a storm (...typhoon?) was imminent, any second now. Low and behold, the storm hit the area, a second later. Really?
I decided to watch this Chinese disaster movie packed into two hours. I got lost with the earthquake/crumbling mountainside/typhoon plot. A decent production with very good CGI! The actors did a very good job. They didn't determine if ten years of drilling the tunnel in the mountain weakened the terrain, but they did mention an earthquake in the Indian Ocean as being the trigger of the local earthquake. The funniest line was when one of the workers went up to Ms Ding and said a storm (...typhoon?) was imminent, any second now. Low and behold, the storm hit the area, a second later. Really? The movie was on the fast track, no planning and execution, just execution. Othewise, the movie would be three hours long.
They should have condensed the first twelve episodes into five episodes. That was enough time to discuss the dragon…
This reminds me of Mystic Nine, which was my very first C-drama, back in 2016. It dragged on forever, especially when they reached the tombs (at least three different tomb sites). I watched the entire drama for the four handsome guys, Chan, Lay, Zhang and Ying, and Zhao Liying.
The dragon bone is an important item for them for different reasons. For ml it's a way for him to find his father,…
Yun Song should hold a conference for all the individuals who want the dragon bones, and tell them that they aren't getting it, and to stop harassing him. LOL
I was expecting more from Yun Song, as Police Director...or whatever his title is, but he doesn't do much. He changes from uniform to regular clothes, and has futile conversations with Yunqi. He is so superior like a crown prince, He Baio has to remove his coat for him. I wonder what their relationship is.

Thanks for sharing the behind the scenes drama of the production. I think if the scriptwriter had avoided the repetitive dragon bones Q&A with the characters, the story might have kept moving. Overall, the set designs and costume designs are very good (except for Pattern Man's wardrobe). Editing was choppy.
I was curious about the tomb raiding censorship while I was watching the episodes. I was surprised the drama had passed the censorship. It looks like they can embark on the expedition, but will they be able to raid the tombs, later on? 😒😏
they could have made this 10 episodes shorter.... zzzzzz
They should have condensed the first twelve episodes into five episodes. That was enough time to discuss the dragon bones, introduce characters, and start the Kunlun expedition. They kicked the missing dragon bones, now lost, to death. I dropped it after watching episode 12.
Watch 11 & 12 the story is going forward and making sense...
It is funny that it has taken twelve episodes for the plot/drama to start making sense. No offense intended.
Episode after episode, we keep waiting for something new to happen. All I get from the first ten episodes is that Yun Song keeps telling Wu Shuang that he will give her the dragon bones, but he keeps telling Yun Qi that he is not giving him the dragon bones. I am tired of looking at Yun Song at this point. I liked him at the start, even though he was grinning like a clown. Now Yung Qi wants to safe Yun Song's life, even though Yun Song wants to kill him and Mr Ding. All I can do is laugh.
OK, I'm on episode 11 and so far the drama has been going around in circles and, which is worse, making the characters…
The conversations about the dragon bone are an exercise in futility. They are wasting time talking about it, and Yun Song is lying whenever he says he will return it. They are so gullible.
I am watching episode 10, and it just seems to be going in circles. The dialog between Yun Song and Commander Hu was tedious. The dialog between Yunqi and his underling was boring. Yungqi wants to save Yun Song's life. Yong Sun wants to kill Yunqi. Then Pattern Man shows up.
thats funny cause i start to get bored since the end of eps 7. To each his own i guess.
I get bored watching Yun Sung obsess over trapping and arresting Ding Yunqi. He must have nothing better to do. Yunqi didn't commit any crime. If Yun Song has been searching for Ding's father for twenty years, he hasn't been doing a good job. He needs job retraining. 😅😅😅
You guys are calling the FL annoying but honestly you guys are the annoying ones. Why can't you understand she…
If she is a Luo, as most commenters here are speculating, that would be a very good reason why Master Zhou sheltered her for twenty years. Keeping her out of sight would be his motivation, and she would not have knowledge on the outside world.
