Newspaper Reporter Jin Qi Ming is one of the smartest characters, but he has a very annoying habit of trotting into, and out of scenes, like the eunuchs of the historical costume dramas. Since this story is set the 20th century, didn't he learn how to walk normally?
be honest, is this worth watching? is it as good as my roommate is a detective
I am watching episode 7 now. I started yesterday. It's like watching a British detective drama, except there are 24 continuous episodes unlike the British dramas that released three or four episodes per year. It's not bad. A little slow paced, but the dialog weaves the story and the mystery. I am admiring the architecture and the waedrobe choices. The hairstyles not as much!
I think i hope they make season 2 with satisfy ending..so many things need to explain..they cut out too much.I…
Even if they made a season 2, it would get censored. If the producers lost money with the 25% cut, they would not want to waste more money on a sequel, that would also get cut.
As an avid Agatha Christie fan from childhood, I’m a lot disappointed that the cases follow the format of her…
One should consider that the drama is written for Chinese audiences, who might not be familiar with the Agatha Christie novels. Western audiences are fringe viewers.
The whole production cycle is suspect. When they are reviewing the scripts and storyboard, the director and producer should know by now what might be considered NRTA violations, and work on story alterations before they start filming. The NRTA is rigid with their rules. They are wasting financial assets and human resources filming scenes that will not pass the censorship board. Lost in the Kunlun Mountains lost 25% of the drama, which is bad. A 10% loss might have been OK.
I love WS wardrobe especially the white, pink and purple colors. YQ also has so many to choose from and looks…
She didn't pack a wardrobe for the expedition because there was no room left, after she packed the two transreceivers in the two suitcases, to send to, and receive messages from Ladyship.
Lost in the Kunlun Mountains â›° should be renamed Story of Yun Qi, Ballad of Yun Qi or Song of Yun Qi. The final episode was laughable. It seems that twelve episodes were deleted, so the climax between the forces of Good and Evil was deflating.
Plot flaw: When Mr Ding was dying, he said he was betrayed by a general. When Yun Qi asked who was the general, Mr Ding daid, "Never mind". Really, Mr Ding? What if General was still alive, and tracked down Yun Qi, to open Kunlun Mountains? Wouldnt Yun Qi want to know who was the enemy?
So Kunlun Xu is in Hengdian. It is like going to Hollywood for a treasure hunt. The industrial soundtrack made…
LOL Finding the cave village is an archeological discovery. It was so organized. The BGM throughout sounded like the music for a Hollywood religious movie.
I really hate that scene where WS meets shifu to "say goodbye" it bothers me so much bcs shifu is a monster, the…
That scene between WS and TL was a waste of their time. I thought he was going to say that he kept her alive to lure her brother YS from hiding, to get his amulet. The amulets that YQ was looking for in two dozen episodes, were not even used in the end. It looked like YQ used his amulet only to open the door. Even TL's amulet was not used.
