Psycho Woman! She's 20 years' old, and she mouths like she is 30-something female boss, calling the shots. I love when Yunqi dismisses all her demands, and brother Yun Song just stares at her, and says in his mind, "What weed are you smoking, Woman?" LMAO

So much for medical school and medical credentials! It might be his young age. If he was the old Imperial Physician in a historical drama, they might listen to him. LOL

My initial thought earlier this week, was that Zhou wanted Wu Shuang to marry Yunqi, so she could get pregnant. After the baby was born, he would kill Yunqi and Wu Shuang, and foster the child as the Ding Heaven Official, to control the Penta Sect and gain acess to the treasures of Kunlun Mountain. In fact, he told Wu Shuang that if she had a baby, she should send it to him to raise.

She didn't arrive with any luggage or boxes, that we could see. They must have delivered it separately. It looked like a few bolts of cloth were used for the decoration.

I think that the 1,541 comment count is very good for a drama, and reflects on its quality.

After seeing the credits where WS was dressed in red, I could not figure how they would fit a wedding ceremony into the tomb plot.

Ep 28 question: Where did Yunqi and Wu Shuang find all the red silk fabric material to decorate their mountain retreat? They are martial artists/interior designers. 😍 🥰 😘

All the theatrics for a little onyx/jade/plastic (...LOL) thing! I reminded me of the Hawaiian lava sculpture trinkets. Zhou was a mastermind. YQ asked Zhou if the traps were a replica of the traps in Kunlun Mountains. It looked like he was also interested in finding Kunlun Mountains.

The traps leading to the main room were complicated. The podium looked simple. Of course, the main threat was the advancing statues...unless it was all for show.

DQY is a well rounded individual. The only thing I don't see, is that when he comes across someone who is injured or ill, like Master Zhou or the ex-Sect leader who was poisoned, DQY does not step forward to examine them professionally, as a doctor. With Zhou, we know that DQY would determine that he was terminally ill, so Zhou fended him off.

When he built this death trap, Zhou didn't have a sharp minded person like Yunqi around, who could figure out puzzles and traps. In modern times, Yungqi might solve Rubicks Cube within a minute.

True! It was more of a test for Yunqi. It was probably very easy to pull out the Soul Pursuit Order thing. I remember when she told Yunqi about the pancakes. It must have been training for Wu Shuang, to handle the trap.

I just finished episode 28. I am feeling the drag...especially whenever Luo Jiutian shows up. I thought the old woman resembled Cui Yanzhi. I wondered if it was the same actress playing two roles, but the two actresses are listed in the castlist.

LOL Not complaining...just that some people are jumping the gun, as they say.

I am relieved there are 10 more episodes only.

Iqiyi posted episode 27 and 28, so I hope we see these two episodes over the weekend. The cliffhanger in ep 26 was 🤯. I can't believe WS just stuck her hand in the trap, without evaluating the equipment. Yunqi might have come up with a solution, like fishing it out of the contraption.
