I skipped a dozen episodes, but at the end, I figured out that Prince Jin's personal assistant had been trying to kill Prince Yu, from the beginning. Prince Yu thought it was Prince Jin. I am so relieved that Prince Yu quit his job as Sovereign Prince.

Same here! I am on ep 20, and wonder when Prince Yu will find out who she is. I am waiting for General Wen to show up, and identify her.

She got the job because of her pretty face. He acting is mediocre.

She must have been cast as Qiu Min of Autumn Ballad, because of this role.

They wasted money producing this drama. It feels like they made the drama, just to pay the cast and crew a salary.

Thanks for the spoiler I am on ep 19, and I keep thinking Yu is not fit to be king. He is too volatile. I hope Jin becomes king. The drama is 50% filler.

I feel the same way. I binge watched 19 episodes in two days. The only character I like is Li Zhong, but I have been suspecting him of undermining Sovereign Prince Yu.

Jinyan's crying fits are cringy. She acts like a 5 years' old spoilt brat, and fake cries like a manipulative female.

I am binge watching this drama in April 2022. Sovereign Prince is bipolar. He has mood swings in every other scene. Jinyan is infantile in every other scene. I feel sorry for Prince Jin. He would make a better king. Fake Princess Consort is pathetic. I can't emphatize with Prince Yu or Jinyan. The directing and script writing is subpar. The OST is the best part of the drama, and I usually dislike the repetitive singing throughout every episode.

Update: After watching twenty episodes, I skipped to the final episode. As I predicted, Prince Yu abdicated, and gave the throne to Prince Jin. Jinyan had developed martial arts skills. Who knew? She finally matured, and was no longer fake crying, however, Prince Yu started crying, He was a pathetic man.

I can't figure out what he looks like. Front the front, Jinyan Sovereign Prince looks handsome. From the side, Prince looks very different. I watched twelve episodes of Jinyan. It looks like two completely different actors. 🤣🙄😂

I thought the same thing. The MDL profile photo looks like Sehun, but he looks completely different in Legend of Jin Yan. I started watching Jinyan today.

Wow! Blithe Spirit is an old British classic play. First performed in 1941...I googled it. I have not heard it mentioned in three decades. I watched the old movie a long time ago.

Was the time jump, two years? Was Su Kelan looking for a job for two years? Where did she find money for the rent, food and transportation?

The show finally concluded. Eight weeks is a long time to watch a short C-drama. The production company produced a diamond... a flag for all future creative writing and production craftspeople. Memo to all personnel: Keep focus and flow. Declutter filler flashbacks and filler.

This is the best contemporary C-drama. High production values! This is the first time I did not criticize the film editor. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Disclaimrr: Subs are an afterthought, so the bad subs do not count in the production values.

International is not their target audience, and they don't earn revenue from that group. They would not spend money for better quality subs.

I am watching Unique Lady, and see the resemblance to her character in Fairyland Lovers. She might have made those two dramas in the same year.
