I binge watched nine episodes yesterday. Huang Zitao and Song Zu'er were excellent choices for their roles. I love Zitao's acting.

I just saw a scene clip at a party event, and they looked perfect, like the wedding couple on the cake. The ex-girlfriend was in the scene.

Me, too, but I decided to keep going, and glosssed over the incoherent subs.

Yes! The director is the top tier of the production crew. He is one who gets the PR exposure. If he is friends with the subordinates, and he may not want to give criticism. He needs to apply objectivity, not subjectivity, when running the show. He's spending the boss's money.

Marcus said that there were six writers on this drama project. That seems excessive for a medium budget drama with 34 episodes, and it shows with all the tangents. They only needed to employ three writers, maximum. They explained that this was thir first writing the historical costume genre. They might have been writing the drama in modern mode, and later dressed the characters in period costumes. The set designs were exceptional, nontheless. The acting was very good, with the exception of a few characters.

Perhaps, QM is saying that she will not troll him at the office anymore. LOL

I thought that the drama plot was declining, but watched it to the very end. I did not expect the social distancing scene. I wonder how many dramas the director has directed. He had the final say over the script, at the end of the day.

I would like her if she were chasing after Jin Yi. She's taking him shopping for clothes, the way the ML buys clothes for the FL in the K-dramas. LOL 50% of her likes him, the other 50% is pushing him on Kelan.

The director and actress are there to annoy the viewer essentially. I skip her scenes because her voice and her acting are too highstrung. Hopefully, the lightbulb turns on before the ending, and they fall in love with each other.
