🤣🤣🤣 When Xingfu hit him in the head, he deserved it. She said she wanted to open a flowershop for him. She needs to do it now, so he can stop working at the office. It is embarrassing to see him, hanging around the floor, like his plants, and not taking ownership of his job responsibilities.

Qinglai is just like his mother and father...blowing hot and cold. They are to blame for his lack of propriety and sensibility. He is the eldest son, and they doted on him, when he was a baby and the only child at the time. They didn't correct any bad behavior, or teach him right from wrong. They are not ignorant peasants, but always favored the male child. It is obvious that Qingzhi and Little Sister were born some years later. Old Wan also favored his son, Chuanglai, who could get away with bad behavior. Chuangli should have gone to jail, not him.

He used to katow to Old Wan, who was the man in charge, yet he disrespected his security boss and Guan Tao, who is now his boss.

Fanguan Law Firm looks like a flower shop. The plants are over the top. They need to remove 50% of the plants, and place the balance at the entrance. I don't know why a handyman is cleaning constantly during working hours. In America, the cleaner cleans after working hours. Qinglai might as well dress up as a security guard, and stand by the entrance of the law firm, than walk around in his cleaning clothes during business hours. Guan and the lawyers are so concerned about presentation. The job responsibilites are so lax. He can handle the post during office hours, and pick up the lunches. Xingfu is cleaning up after him. That is why family members should not work in the same office place. That Qin lawyer looks odd.

She is 15, so they made the makeup to look like a teenager. I am sure five years later, she will look more grown up.

I think the drama would get negative criticism if XF and QL divorce, and GT and XF end up together. The writer might explain that GT regards XF like a younger sibling.

Mr Xu told Qingzhi to have a talk with Qjnglai, however Qingzhi just breezed through it. All Qinglai got out of the conversation, was not to bother Mr Xu.

There are subtle life lessons to learn, the way the drama is presented. They depict the tunnel vision of village and city people, alike. I would normally drop this type of drama, after the first ten minutes of ep 1, but I finished ep 23 and 24 today. 😀😀😀

Karma visits Old Wan. Actor Liu Wei is doing an excellent job portraying a victim of a stroke.

It is a love/hate relationship with Ma Wang and Pa Wang. When they put on the sycophantic hats, and when they talk BS nonsense, I cringe. When they exude widsom, I think they are OK.

Me, too! I look forward to the episodes every day. I think it is because I want to see Xingfu's rise. With little education, she is utilizing common sense and integrity, and resourcefulness, to improve her lifestyle. Unlike Qinglai, who is hindering himself.

After Xingfu finishes, I will cancel my channel membership, too.

After watching ep 24, I dislike Qinglai as much as I disliked Old Wan. He is presumptuous and boastful. For an industrious working man, he is lacking in honesty. He has everyone believing that Mr Xu is his uncle. Once a lie is said, it cannot be taken back. It's going to bite him in the ***. He expects favors from Mr Xu and Qingzhi, as Qingzhi rises up the career ladder. Even if he had little education, he should be trying to find ways to utilize his farming skills.

After watching ep 24, I dislike Qinglai as much as Chuanglai. He is presumptuous and boastful. Village people should still have integrity and honesty, even if they are lowly educated. He is just like his parents.

He has his coworkers thinking he is Mr Xu's nephew. That will get him and Mr Xu into trouble eventually. He should shut his mouth, and be glad he has a job. He looks like a slouch in his uniform.
